Powerful battery last long
Im glad dewalt came out with 60v batteries. They are very powerful and work on 20v tools too. I use these on my skill saw, small leaf blower, jig saw, dome light, grinder and hammer drill. And they last me few days before recharging. Got a great deal on black friday

This is an upgrade from my normal 5ah and I’ve found that the 6ah flexvolt runs WAY longer than traditional 5amp. Used today with my drill and 1/2” bit 5 inches deep no problem. Had to drill 12 holes, battery still at 3 bars after all that. Very satisfied.

Power and Run Time to Spare
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest down side of cordless tools is always their run time. The 6.0Ah battery is a beast that certainly changes that. Continuous run tools like my angle grinder and router can move through batteries in a short time period - but I've yet to fully discharge the 6.0 Ah! Brushless tool + flexvolt battery are certainly a combination that yields corded tool levels of power with solid runtimes that are completely acceptable to not have the hassle of cords. Most recently I plowed a 1/2" roundover through some hardwood ash (that also had a 1/4" lip) and was blown away by the power. I usually saved this job for my corded router but since it was occupied with a different set up I gave it a go. I'll certainly be looking to pick up this combo first the next time.

    Long lasting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and have been using for a long time. Lighter then it looks, and battery life lasts for a long time. Gives tool lots more “power”.

      Flexvolt platform is the best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the 60v 6ah battery so far it works great in my 60v 15 inch trimmer and all my other 20v tools! Took a few pics to compare it to the old style 6ah 60v and a new 12v 5ah i picked up as well

        Can't beat this battery!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this battery for my range of Dewalt cordless tools. I couldn't have made a better choice. This battery lasts forever and provides more than enough power for every one of them. It is heavier than the smaller batteries that come with some of the tools, but that is too be expected. It is not overbearing and the trade off is absolutely worth it. The small things like the terminal cover for transporting and the power meter are what really did it for me. Just the fact I can switch this battery out to every one of my tools is a timesaver.

          MOVE OVER battery-hungry power tools!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a toss up between the color scheme and the "buy-it-for life" reputation that DeWalt has earned over the decades... but ever since getting into DIY projects and amateur woodworking, DeWalt has been my exclusive choice in power tools. Because of this, I feel like the 20V/60V MAX FLEXVOLT 6.0 Ah battery is an excellent choice for consumers. Not only does it pack a wallop of energy storage, but it also allows me to use on both my 20V Max and 60V FLEXVOLT tools without worrying about compatibility for my future purchases. One of my most power hungry tools is my DeWalt 20V Max XR Jigsaw. It's probably a combination of it's usefulness and my personal propensity for purchasing cheap blades, but this powerful and compact tool chugs down battery like it's going out of style. Because of this, I decided that I would put this battery to the test by starting a project that will primarily make use of my DeWalt jigsaw. After slicing through 2x4's with my DeWalt cordless 7 1/4" circular saw, chopping out a wooden sign representing my home State of Idaho with the jigsaw--and sharpening a couple of lawn mower blades with my DeWalt angle grinder--this battery performed like a BEAST! I am beyond stoked that I was able to do all this with a single battery. I only ended up using 1/3rd of the battery capacity to boot! Take that battery-life anxiety! Funny/embarrassing anecdote: I've only ever gotten DeWalt batteries in combination with the purchase of a power tool. Because of this, I had a terrible time figuring out how to remove the protective red plastic cover that comes installed on the battery. I eventually scratched my head, took it to my wife, and she proceeded to remove the cover by pressing the battery latch button. Oh boy... I'm not going to live that one down anytime soon. TERRIFIC BATTERY!

            Awesome Battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using it for a couple of weeks now and it hold a charge really well, doesn’t matter the job, find myself rarely needing to charge it.

              Flexvolt battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've been using flexvolt batteries for years now, to run my 60v and 20v tools there top of the line battery and give you the power and run time you need on the job.

                Powerful Battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own 2 flexvolt batteries now, and mainly use them with my Dewalt 7-1/4" advantage circular saw and my flexvolt table saw. While the circular saw works good with a 20v battery, it really flies when I use a flexvolt battery with it. The extra power the battery provides allows my to fly through 2x12's and 3/4" plywood with ease. My table saw requires the flexvolt 60v batteries. With a 6ah flexvolt, I can run trim and pine through it most of the day off one battery. On days where it get's heavy use, I use a 2nd flexvolt battery, and keep a fast charger on hand to keep them both charged and running. I have also found my Dewalt flexvolt batteries to last a really long time. The first one I bought was several years ago and it still works like new today.
