Product Details

This 60-Volt MAX Quick Change Stud and Joist Drill is DEWALT's most powerful drill. It is designed to handle a wide range of large drilling applications. In addition to the integral clutch, the DEWALT anti-rotation E-Clutch System, offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary, in a bind up situation. The red indicator LED illuminates when the E-Clutch System is engaged. Battery and charger sold separately.

Q:Is there a specific model number for this unit? It is not listed in the description anywhere. Dewalt makes many lookalike units that have newer revisions so I want to make sure I'm getting the most up to date one.

              I was really excited for this drill since it had the quick-change stud. But it seems that was the worst quality. I've barely owned this drill for 2 months and the quick-change constantly gets jammed and has become more troublesome. I was hoping to save time not spend more time trying disassembling. The drill otherwise is exactly I was hoping for it may be a bit heavier than the Milwaukee but it more than makes up for in power. This makes drilling through a house a cake walk.
