Yes, but unfortunately there is not an app for Android. The iPhone app works great. Very easy to setup.

What is the work around to keep this unit from walking all over the place when in use? The pressure washer “walks” all over the place under load

I have one not made by Dewalt but also walks a bit so I just use an old rubber door mat under the legs. This stops it from moving.

The manual states that you need to have a minimum 5 gallons per minute at 20 psi. You'll need to get a pump to provide that to the pressure washer or you'll damage it if you haven't already. You can use a 12V RV/Boat pump like a shurflo or anything that will pump at least 5 gallons per minute at 20 psi.

This has Simpsons' AAA Triplex pump, it uses the 15W40 non detergent. Although, half of the customer service at Simpson said it doesn't matter if it has detergent or not, the other half insist it must be non detergent. Pick your poison. BTW, Simpson's pump crankcase oil is made by Karcher, which is what's in the bottle, re-branded. Karcher is the only company that I know that makes 15W40 non detergent. The other 15W40 you see at HD, auto store has detergent in it. You'll know when you look thorough the glass and see that is foaming, turning white. The engine uses 15W30 in average weather, use a cold weather oil in winter.

Carlos, I would check with the manufacturer, Dewalt to verify the guarantee on this machine. They have a website where you can send an email to customer service for assistance. The warranty on Dewalt products is greater than other manufacturer power tools. As far as the machine not starting, I would change the oil first of all. I drain the fluids for the winter in my power tools. If you have never changed the oil in 3 years this could be your problem. Also I would check your owners manual for tips on trouble shooting (machine won't start). If you cannot locate your manual request a new manual from Dewalt. It may be available online as well. Hope this helps. Kate

DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT AND DON'T BUY DEWALT
From the beginning I was told by Home Depot that if the machine failed, they would fix it in-house. That was a lie. When it did fail, they told me it had to be sent off and I would get it back in 4-6 weeks. That was a lie. It's been 8 weeks so far... Last week I was told by Home Depot that I should expect the machine soon but the one thing they could confirm was that it was being repaired under warranty. $0 out of pocket. That was a lie. I just got a call from Home Depot's repair facility and was asked if I would like to move forward with a $250+ repair or if they should just send the machine back. Are you kidding me? Oh and I should mention that I only had this machine about 60 days. Each time I have tried to reach out to Dewalt, I have been on hold over 1hr and no answer.

Avoid this machine
This thing has been a problem since day 1. It started with little things like vibration loosening parts and eventually led to the pump failing. Water leaking everywhere and the valves were destroyed. I called Home Depot and Dewalt and was instructed to contact an authorized repair (Home Depot). The closest one told me their “technician” was gone for 6-8 weeks. The next one said they have to send it off and its 12-16 weeks. The third one said I can drop it off and theyd look at it and let me know in 3-4 weeks what the cost is. I then called a local pressure washer repair place and they told me they refuse to service these pumps. Go online and look up the manual for this pump and try and find any info on valve assembly. The warranty is a joke. The pump says 5 years on parts “excludes valves” lol. I wouldnt recommend this product or any Dewalt pressure washer

Horrible
Customer review from dewalt.com logo
I’ve had this pressure washer for a few years and I have not been impressed. From the start the steel braided line had a bubble in the rubber (it was shot). The 2nd time I used it the valve in the gun would become stuck shut. Every time I’d use it I’d have to take the plastic off, pull the valve apart and lube it up. Now the pump is shot. I have maybe 10 hours of use on this thing. Dewalt is supposed to be such a great brand but clearly this pressure washer is not built as well as the tools.
