    A:  Dewalt reps are horrible and don?t know their products. Yes they are reversible. Just look at the advertised product pictures where it shows it in the reverse position.

              A:  No the medium set I have in the 4 pk is 6 inches. The largest is 12 in. I measured to be sure.

                A:  No, the clamp is the DWHT83196 is 16 inches at the longest and the longest clamp in the DWHT83200D is 12 inches.

                  Breaks easily
                  Very disappointed in this DeWalt product. DeWalt needs to pull this product. Easily breaks as you apply pressure. I've the same thing happen 3 times. Got rid of them.

                    Broke
                    These clamps have plastic pads that break apart very easily. I don't recommend buying this product.

                      Plastic pads broke.
                      Plastic pads broke. They should be rubber and able to withstand normal use.

                        Plastic is brittle.
                        The black plastic that grips the wood is very brittle. I rarely used my clamps (maybe half a dozen times) and after a year the black plastic crumbled into pieces just touching it. I do not recommend this product. Now I'm going to have to make my own soft pads, and I'm open to suggestions.

                            New and Not Improved!
                            I picked up my first 4 pack some years back, and thought it was about time to stock up on some more given the amount of times I find myself grabbing these over other clamps. Unfortunately, they seem to have changed the production of them. Immediately they don’t feel has heavy duty and durable. I’m not sure if the old beams were steel and the new ones are aluminum, but the plastic definitely isn’t as dense as the old ones. They made the clamping surface bigger, but the triggers and handles smaller... they just feel fragile. The new ones also have a lot of play not only side to side, but the clamp arm swivels up and down due to the beam fitting so loosely into it. I feel like DeWalt took a step backwards.
