Got this hoping it would heat glue hotter than the current glue gun I had but it didn't. It does however heat the glue very fast so you can get going quickly on a project. I found a high temp glue gun but this will replace my regular temp glue gun because of it's speed.
It was a great deal with the clamps included. When I got it I think I paid about the same as just the glue gun alone. The clamps work well. The glue feeds fine for me. I haven't run into any issues like some others.

not good
this will not push the glue stick out with the trigger i have to push the stick while pulling the trigger. going to toss it in the garbage.used it for half a stick very disappointed.

should have done my research
bought this combo cause it was on sale and i had an impulse buy moment.... like others said the glue gun does not feed properly. . when trigger is pulled the mechanism inside that pushes glue sticks just slips..
clamps or ok for light duty work, but i find they slip when im using them for all my clamping needs ..Dewalt makes some very good products but there us some out there that should be left on the shelf.

A great deal!
So I purchased this set because for some reason it was cheaper to buy the glue gun with glue sticks and clamps than it was just to buy the glue gun. The clamps are just like other dewalt trigger clamps I own. The glue gun does heat up quickly, and I am very satisfied with how it has performed. I have used it to temporarily glue down wooden boards for router work. Additionally, it has been relatively easy to keep it clean. Overall, I am happy I found this deal.
