TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 22 in. Tool Bag

The whole unit collapses in when you put any tools in the side pockets. Makes it very difficult to get anything out of the bottom. All the “tool” holder pouches are the same size making it impractical to sort tools, especially small ones. Don’t waste your money on a tool bag that folds in on itself when load. Picture 1 shows what happens. Picture 2 shows the top zipper when bag folds in. (Makes it hard to zip closed) Picture 3 is with side tool’s removed and bag force back into shape.

I love this bag for the fact that it snaps right ontop of my 2.0 packout set. What i dont like is the bag is not water proof in some way. Plus i dont pack alot of hravy stuff in my bag and a few of the zipper loops have broken. Other than those 2 things i love everything bout the bag. Its full of storage.

This bag would be awesome if they made side walls rigid. Bag it self is very practical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this is a must have for all tradesmen, contractors, maintenance personnel and even the DIY homeowner! The feel of this 1680 Denier fabric just oozes Elite Toughness. It's complimented by the rugged, waterproof bottom for those wet grounds that it needs to sit on, I love these features and they make the bag look cool as heck too. I carried this as i hustled into a building during a downpour and nothing inside a zippered compartment got wet, I was impressed. There's so many features I've found useful about this bag. There's so many pockets, in different areas, it allows me to separate different tools for different trades, while keeping them neat and in order, in their respective place. The main chamber is full square to the bottom, allowing maximum space, going under the tool pouches on the inside walls. Big pocket inside that holds and is labeled for a drill, and other puches that vary in size as well as banded-to-the-side storage in the main chamber. The side zipper pouches have a perfect set up of bands for holding hand tools tight and pouches that again, customize what you need, where you need it. The front pouch offers safety and soft areas for your glasses, phone and tablet. This is a great feature, keeping these things zipped up, keeps the dust away from your electronics on the inside and dusty the jobs. All exterior pouches and tool holders are perfect for quick grabbing of hand tools or phone while having various areas to attach and clip, levels, chords and many other job site useful items. The almost width long, deep, open mouth pouch on the back of the bag is great for easy to grab blueprints or gloves. The duffel bag style handle has a very unique design, that allows it to feel extremely comfortable in my hand, regardless of the weight. Also, that handle has a one-side-goes-inside the other style of folding and it's so perfect, no velcro to struggle with, very, very cool design on that. The shoulder strap was clearly designed by a person who's shouldered some weight with a job site bag and hauled it around, because it sits perfect and doesn't swing all around my hips when walking, that's also a very cool aspect of the design. Once I sit it down, all the pouches and compartments unfold like a mobile command center for my job site. All constantly used stuff as well as my phone and tablet, all in one place. The fact it attaches with ease to the top of my Dewalt Toughsystem 2.0 stack is just really the icing on the cake, another awesome feature for sure. Whether you're on trade specific and looking for one bag that does it all, or you need to have multiple trades worth of tools, separated nicely, this is your bag, without question. Pair it with a rolling ToughSystem stack and it's undefeated. Dewalt Tough!

This bag is packed full of useful features that will make it a job site favorite for me. The first thing I noticed was the durable materials it was made of. It has a durable soft material that will withstand the toughest jobs and job sites. The zippers are also very robust and easy to use and some of them are lockable. This will help with securing your expensive tools when they’re not being used. The waterproof base was a stand out for me. I can carelessly place my bag anywhere on the job site without worrying that the bottom of my bag will get damaged or rip with time. The thick plastic base also latches to the new tough system 2.0 and I noticed that it’s backwards compatible with the pre existing tough system line. This bag has a very innovative hard blasting hand strap that can easily slide into itself or disconnect. When you connect the two carrying into each, it’s creates a strong as well as comfortable handle to carry your job site tool bag if you don’t want to use the shoulder strap that comes included. This bag looks and feels really well made and I think it looks really cool. It has over 50 plus pockets for easy storage and a variety of different set ups. The all around access of the bag only adds to its versatility. I love that this bag has multiple loops and anchor point for straps. It also comes with elastic tie downs and Velcro straps that helped me secure, clip, latch, strap and tie down multiple tools and materials on different jobs. I’m going to enjoy breaking this bag in and taking it with me on different jobs. If you like a a really well made medium to large tool bag with a versatile amount of storage pockets, then I strongly recommend this DeWalt Jobsite Tool Bag. You won’t regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tool bag has a lot of pockets and room to organize your tools. It feels really well made but time will tell. I use it for general contracting to bring in most of my tools at once. This job I had the cordless nail gun and impact driver. Side pockets hold small tools like screwdrivers, flashlight, staple gun ect.. I'm pretty happy with it, only bad is it doesn't have wheels and gets heavy. But I suppose it should be attached to tough system witch I don't have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is about as complete of a tool bag as one could expect. Top notch quality, durability, and design. The sides and top are durable fabric and the bottom is hard plastic. The plastic bottom snaps on to the top of the tough system 2.0 stack. There are more pockets/pouches/compartments than one could imagine...I lost count. One feature I've found particularly useful that I wasn't expecting is that the yellow lining inside the bag makes it easy to identify smaller items in the bag, such as hand tools. I also appreciate that the bag has lockable zippers, but note this is only on the zippers for the front and end compartments, but not the zippers of the main compartment. If I were to nitpick one thing, it would be that when you fill the pockets that line the inside edges of the main compartment, the weight of the items can cause the side walls of the bag to collapse inward if you don't have the main compartment full of larger items. Also, the bag is so large that once completely full it can get a bit heavy and cumbersome to move around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this bag I had mixed feelings on it due to the size of it I kinda thought it would end up like most tool bags with things just thrown into it and unorganized. But after using this bag for a couple of weeks I am very happily surprised with it. You can tell it was designed by someone who actually works with tools for a living. While I’m not the normal candidate for a bag like this. I work for an automotive OEM and am frequently driving offsite. While I change cars on a regular basis there are a lot of tools I want with me in the vehicle I’m driving. This bag has provisions for tablets, tools, and a lot of space in the middle which I use for spare parts. I used to have boxes of tools and parts I’d move from car to car. Now I have one bag which has all of my test equipment, spare parts, and all of the tools required to change them. Even as far as safety glasses I used to lose a set a week now having a spot to put them that protects them has cut that down to zero. The zipper is heavy duty and I don’t see having any issues with it. And the bag is constructed of high quality material. Even after bouncing around in the back of cars all day with sharp objects inside there is no hint of wear. Due to the confidential nature of the work we do I had to remove the parts from the bag to take pictures of it. As I was unloading it I was shocked to find how much stuff I’ve actually hoarded inside of it.

As I began loading my tools, I quickly realized I could fit more than I intended the bag to hold. I ended up putting more than I need which comes in handy no matter the project you are tackling. There are so many pockets and holders in this bag that you can end up making the bag pretty heavy to carry. Thankfully, dewalt had this in mind and made it compatible with their tough system 2.0 and you can use the rolling case to carry it all. The tool bag it’s self is very rugged and durable. The shoulder strap is probably overkill but might be handy if you’re trying to bring everything in at one time. This is forsure my job to job tool bag that has all my quick access tools in to tackle any project.
