Diablo's next generation 10 in. x 84 Tooth Non-Ferrous Carbide Circular Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts in laminates and non-ferrous materials. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through laminates and non-ferrous metals cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, Diablo's 10 in. non-ferrous blade produces precise cuts and provides 5X longer cutting life. The laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract during use, keeping the cut true and straight. This blade is excellent for cutting laminate flooring, plastics, brass, aluminum, copper and fiberglass.

Is this saw blade compatible with RYOBI 14 Amp 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw with Laser?

Asked by Matt August 25, 2020

Answer

The DIABLO 12 IN. X 96-TOOTH LAMINATE/NON-FERROUS METAL CUTTING SAW BLADE is NOT compatible with a RYOBI 14 Amp 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw with Laser. Essentially, a 12 inch blade will not fit a 7-1/4 in saw. There is a good selection of 7-1/4 Diablo blades that WILL fit your saw at Home Depot. I recommend that you identify what you would like to cut with the saw, and then buy a blade that closest fits the material that you wish to cut.

Probably. It has a lot of teeth and is superb on PVC decking.

Will this work to cut cellular and shorten cellular blinds? The blinds use aluminum frame and have cellular paper

Asked by Jack June 20, 2020

Answers

I believe it would as long as the aluminum frame and cellular blind was collapsed and clamped tightly to retail it while cutting. I would perform a test cut outside of the final cut the first time to make sure

Can this blade be resharpened?

Asked by Dave June 17, 2020

Answers

Yes. A good saw blade sharpening service with automated diamond sharpening equipment should be able to sharpen this blade for around $20-25. In fact a good sharpening outfit would also be able to replace cracked or missing carbides also - one near me does it for around $3/tooth. Google "Dynamic Saw Buffalo NY" I don't think I can post links here. They're very good. I have not yet needed to have this blade sharpened but they've reconditioned and sharpened other Diablo blades for me.

Will this blade cut 1/16th inch stainless steel?

Asked by Jim April 27, 2020
4
Answers

The answer would be yes, it will. But bcz the blade is not designed for cutting stainless steel. The teeth will where down fast & u will need a new blade soon. Stainless steel is supposed to be cut a slower RPM to allow the blade to penetrate the steel. Miter Saws cut at high speeds opposing the ways needed to cut stainless steal. Blade will cut better at slower speeds. 4 stainless steel.

will this cutting nail embedded wood

Asked by Chuck November 23, 2019
4
Answers

No, I would NOT use this blade to cut nail-embedded wood. It would almost certainly fracture or knock the carbide teeth off the bland. In fact I would not purposely cut nail embedded wood on any stationary tool - get rid of the nails first. Use a metal detector.

Will the 10" Diablo cut Aluminum Window Screen Frame 7/16-5/16?

Asked by Rjp58 October 9, 2019

Answers

Aluminum is fairly soft but it doesn't cut very cleanly. The blade will chew thru more than cut thru. Go slow and keep the metal cool. Use ice water to cool the cutting area.

How good is this blade at cut 3/4 inch melamine? Does it chip out a lot?

The blade holds up well. Very clean cuts. Once the blade gets clogged, the cuts do chip slightly.

can I use this blade on coretec plus flooring

I used it on Coretec flooring. It cuts well when new. Does well on short cuts, but struggles fairly quickly with rip cuts.

teeth snapped off, ruined my Trex railing in the process
Cutting Trex aluminum railing using this blade and a dewalt miter saw. I was cutting into the piece at a normal speed when suddenly the railing shattered into two peices. On examining the blade, it appears that teeth came off, the blade bound up on the railing and the saw had enough power to cause the aluminum in two. Railing pieces flew past my face, the blade is garbage and I need to spend another $250 for another railing kit from Trex. Will never use this kind of blade again

Versatile and high quality.
This blade is a versatile choice. 1: The cut is good enough to hit with 320 grit sandpaper. 2: This leaves a fine dust rather than chips. Indoors, it gets everywhere, but outdoors, the wind helps you clean up. Bring a big fan. 3: Non-ferrous capability is very useful for PVC plumbing and some aluminum projects. 4: The blade runs rather quietly. No metallic ringing sound. Just a soft whine of the teeth cutting. Interesting. I'm not used to that.

I purchased this saw blade to build my Trex deck since the Trex 12 blade was unavailable. It worked great with smooth cutting and no burn. I also was able to use it on the aluminum railings since it is a non ferrous blade also!

The lady friend wanted an end table made from a reclaimed window frame. Instead of using the original glass and risk it breaking from an accident I replaced it with a sheet of acrylic. Purchased this blade for the job of cutting the acrylic to size using my table saw, and it performed flawlessly. I only run Diablo blades when I can, I have never been disappointed.

These blades are made by Freud in Italy! Worth it for the price for sure. Good edge to the carbide and it cuts smooth and clean. I didn’t see the typical red paint left on my work this time. I’ve had it a short time on my Milwaukee cordless chopsaw. Good combo!
