Diablo's premium 6-7/8 in. ALTO Sanding Disc with Hook and Lock backing includes break-through innovations that improve performance, extend sanding life and increase productivity. Featuring a premium zirconium blend, these discs remove material faster than other sanding discs and offer an extra long sanding life. Clog-SHIELD, Diablo's own blend of grinding agents, reduces loading thus maximizing productivity. The superior grit-to-backing bond, ENDURA-BOND, provides Diablo's sanding discs with longer life and extreme durability. Designed for use with ALTO sanders, these discs are ideal for sanding all types of wood.

        A:  Hi, Larry - The Diablo 6 7/8" 36G sanding disc, does have a Hook and Loop backing. This sanding disc is designed to work with the ALTO three headed sander rented through THD Rental centers.

          please don't buy this product, it will not stick to any sander. you put it on and 20 seconds later they come off and won't stick back again .

            Sander did not do a great job on the floors, i had to go back with a palm sander to donthe job proper. The dust bag was pointless and i could see it catching even half the dust. The house was a covered in airborn dust. Not happy with the way the tool preformed
