Made with premium quality polyethylene resins, DIGs 0.710 OD drip irrigation poly tubing is designed to meet the demands of any drip irrigation project, above or below ground, from residential gardening to commercial landscape and agricultural installations. The drip tubing, commonly referred to as poly tubing, blank tubing or drip hose, is used as the primary supply line of a drip irrigation system into which micro tubing, drip emitters, drip line or micro sprinklers are connected to deliver water to the plant areas. DIGs drip irrigation poly tubing coil has outstanding environmental stress-cracking resistance, high burst strength and UV protection for durability and long life.

  • Designed to meet the demand of any drip irrigation projects from professional landscape to residential gardening installations, for above or below the ground
  • Resistant to cracking, heat, UV rays and chemicals
  • Produced using dows 7510 linear low-density polyethylene resins with high environmental stress crack resistance and UV protection against the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays
  • Use with DIGs 0.710 compression fittings, color blue, and nut lock fittings
  • Dimensions: 500 ft. with 0.620 ID x 0.710 OD
  • Bending radius: 1 ft.
  • Maximum operating pressure: 60 psi
  • Can be installed above or below ground
  • DIG's drip irrigation products may be exempt from residential and commercial watering restrictions (check local codes)
  • Maximum recommended flow rate per each length of drip tubing is not to exceed 220 GPH (3.6 GPM)

Q:If I order multiple of these, will they come as separate pieces or in one continuous length (i.e. if I ordered 3 of the 2 foot lengths, is that what I would get, or would I receive one 6 foot piece)?

    Q:My water pressure is 40 psi with the parameter of 200 ft. I want to use 2gph emitters. What is the maximum number of emitters? The water flow rate is 348 gph. Thank in advance.

    A:  With the numbers provided, the maximum number of emitters would be 174: 174 Emitters @2gph = 348gph water flow. You can always use less emitters though.

      A:  We recommend using a 25 PSI pressure regulator to ensure proper operation of you low volume irrigation system. At 25 PSI you can run a max of 400 feet of the ½” poly tubing, and supply around 220 gph. If you’re using only 2 gph emitters, you can use 110 of them.         Q:What is the crush strength if filled with water (can it be stepped on, can lots of mulch be piled high over it. Can it withstand 130 degree F water (if run through a heated comost pile)?

        A:  The burst limit for our poly drip tubing is 60 PSI at 90 degrees F. Our tubing can be buried under mulch or woodchips or a few inches under soil, but we do not recommend our tubing be buried under more than a foot or so of soil.           A:  Yes the drip system can be left installed for the winter months but you would have to winterize your drip system.
