DIG Corp's 1/4 in. x 100 ft. polyethylene micro tubing is used in the installation of drip irrigation system. It can be used either for extending drip emitters and micro-sprinklers from the main line to the plants area or as the basis of a small patio system. The durable micro tubing is manufactured of high quality, professional grade materials and can be used either above or below ground.

AnswersHi Janice - I live in an area where it can easily get over 100 at times and I use polyurethane tubing. Have been using this type for several years. I haven't had any issues with the barbs popping off. From my research it lasts long than vinyl.

AnswersThis is aprox. 1/4 OD. We have found a difference in sizes between brands. Evidently there is not a standard used by tubing and fitting manufacturers. I had to go back and order fitting by the same company as my tubing so I did not have any leaks or blow outs. Hope this helps

I find I need more and more of this tubing as I expand my system and make repairs. The tubing connects to all 1/4 fittings and is durable, I havent had a leak in 4 years. A mouse chewed through some under my deck once, that's about it. The tubing is best worked in the sun, it becomes loose and pliable, the barb fittings are much easier to attach. I cut it with a utility knife or sharp scissors.

Maintaining a home drip irrigation system requires systematic maintenance, including replacing drip/sprinkler heads and tubing. This tubing is functional but it sure does seem much less pliable than the previous rolls I purchased. Even working with this tubing in warm weather it takes quite a bit of effort to insert connectors and water application parts into the tubing. What happened to the old flexible, pliable tubing material? It is usable for my needs and I do recommend it because there is no other choice.
