A: I've used this drip hose for 2 years. You are correct that it does not put out a lot of water. I lay the hose on both sides of my plants. My drip system has a timer. I run the water through the hose for 1 hour, let the water soak in for 3 hours, then run the water through the hose for a second hour. My plants are doing well with this method.
A: Having reduced flow rate that develops after only a month of operation sounds like it may be debris, I would recommend flushing the soaker line by pulling out the end cap and letting it flush for 10 to 15 seconds. Also make sure length of soaker hose is no longer than 15 feet max, if you have any further questions or require further troubleshooting assistance, please contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
A: Sorry for the confusion the flow rate of the PSH50 is around 1.30 gph per ft. at 25 PSI. If you have any further questions, please contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
A: Our PSH50 porous soaker hose not emitting any water after only 3 months of use is very strange. Also, the PSH50 changing in size we have never experienced when you have a moment, please contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146 for troubleshooting assistance.
A: I have run 4 of the 50' off a 1/2" feeder hose and it worked great.
A: The maximum lateral run length for ¼” tubing is 30 feet at 25 psi. For our ¼” porous soaker tubing the maximum lateral run length is 15 feet at 25 psi. If you have any further questions, please contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
