supposedly 1/2 inch but 1/2 inch couplings would not fit (purchased separately, not in the kit). this made hooking it up to existing 1/2inch line difficult

The stiffness of the tubing made it useless for virtually all applications, except maybe something where it doesn’t need to bend much. Don’t bother using in a raised bed or anything else when turns are required.

I did return this as I didn't need it. I bought the veggie and plant one. I used the veggie (loved it) and it was big enough that I didn't need two. The difference is one is 12 inch holes the other 18 inch holes.

This kit wasn't really what I was looking for. I had presumed that it was a low volume weeping hose that I could cut to the desired length and cap off to fit my beds. It is instead, a plastic hose with holes every 6 or so inches that doesn't align with my garden bed plants as well as I would like. It is what it says it is, but wasn't exactly what I wanted. I use it in one of my beds, which makes it 'Okay' by my standards, just not 'Great'. It also 'hums' as it waters. annoying for me, but the plants enjoy it.
