DIG's EVO100 ambient light (solar) powered Digital Hose End Timer (Tap Timer) is the most innovative in our new generation of premium automatic controllers. Completely waterproof, the EVO100 is a DC timer with a built-in solenoid and high flow diaphragm valve that offers reliable operation under extreme conditions. The EVO100 features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen and simple, icon-based programming with weekly or cyclical programs, four start times per day, durations of up to six hours, program delay of up to 99 days, program off, manual operation and a sensor wire connection to accept a rain sensor.

A: Yes you can connect 2 rised beds if and only if you want them irrigated at the same schedule. No if you want to irrigate at different schedule.

A: No, this is the a timer with female hose thread by male hose thread only and if used with drip system, add a part # D46 for pressure regulator.

Works great, no batteries, might be a challenge to program for some but took about 10 minutes for me. I connected a hose to a outdoor faucet, then DIG device then a soaker hose in a flower bed. Instant irrigation system for flower seeds to germinate! Now I can go on vacation and not worry about my seedlings drying out.
