Lexington Planters features classic slatted sides and a slatted bottom for proper drainage. The upright finials on each corner demonstrate quality craftsmanship, as they are turned on a lathe from 1 solid piece of wood. All pieces are sanded to a smooth finish and painted in your choice of UV-rated exterior paints. A durable plastic liner is included for each planter and plastic feet under each leg prevents moisture absorption.
Holds 16 in. grow pots
Plastic footpads on bottom of each leg prevent absorption of moisture
Is slightly larger than I thought v but a great item.

GOOD PERFORMANCE PLANTER BOX
Previous reviewers have complained about the slats on this planter arriving broken or fragile. I ordered two planters and both arrived in excellent condition. There's a little assembly but all of the precut holes worked perfectly and Lexington even included its own Allen wrench so it didn't take long at all. My only negative is on the insert whose corners were subject to breaking off (plastic was fragile). However this doesn't affect performance or appearance and so all is well. I did need to drill some holes in the insert for drainage (it is a planter after all!), but this too was easily accomplished. Overall, the boxes look good and I would order again.

Stay away
I bought 2 of the 20" planters and 4 of the 16" planters online. The material itself is very poor quality, even for the price, which is low compared to similar teak products. After receiving the planters, I quickly discovered why they were priced as they were. More importantly, 4 of the 6 planters arrived damaged. 3 of the 16" planters had cracks in the wood, but I decided to keep them, as I was able to position them in a way in which the cracks weren't visible. The 20" planter was damaged beyond use and I had to return it. Home Depot gladly refunded my money, but a refund didn't compensate me for the aggravation of having to bring the merchandise to the store. While these products are appealing because of their price, as the quality is so poor, I would not recommend their purchase. When shopping for teak products, I was amazed at how expensive they can be, but good quality teak will truly last a lifetime, so I guess that's why.
