Did you spray it when the grass was dry? Was it in full sun? Did you shake the container before spraying? All are necessary for success with this product.

The ingredients are the oils of cinnamon, clove, rosemary, sesame, and thyme, along with citric acid, lecithin, and water. Like anything, it has potential to be harmful if consumed in large quantities. I’d wait until the product is thoroughly dry before letting pets in that area. It’s still Omri listed first organic use.

What is the shelf life of this product

Thank you for your question. The Dr. Earth Weed & Grass Herbicide does not have an expiration date, but it is always recommended to shake the bottle before use.

I imagine it ok but it is non selective so cover anything you don’t want to kill. I use it to keep down weeds between bricks on my patios.

the death of Dr. Earth
Save your money! I would have had better results taking my $16 and trying to choke my weeds to death...they're still happily growing after 4 days of "Dr. Earth"! :-)

(What's this)
I am very happy to have an all natural, organic weed killer. I do not want to put toxic chemicals on the ground that will leech down into my ground water. I didn't know such a product existed! This product contains natural oils, which alone or together, will remove your problem vegetation. The bottle is very easy to use. No mixing or diluting required. It is simple to flip up the cap and insert the spray nozzle. While you don't want to get it on you or your pets, it is non toxic and easy to spray. There is no adverse odor. I have lots of places where grass is growing up through cracks in my driveway and I have treated them without fear of contamination.

KILLS WEEDS DEAD!
This is an extremely effective organic alternative to the other more commonly know weed killers. In my first review I wasn't satisfied with the results. Now that the weather has warmed up in central PA and weeds are growing more rampantly, I've retested the DR. EARTH herbicide. It works really well. Weeds were brown and dying within 12 hours and hard to recognize within 36 hours. No bad odors. It works!

Fails to perform it's primary function
The primary function of this is to kill weeds and it fails completely. I am adding an image to demonstrate the problem. This spray is designed using essential oils - which is great and earth friendly and all. However, it doesn't kill the plant. Look at my pictures - I can spray a dandelion and within minutes it has visual signs of impending death - great! Ya, but no. The oils do a great job of killing the leaves, but does nothing to the root. What do you get? Bounce-back weeds! Again just look at my pictures. I thought some of these were actually dead from my initial test, so I used more of the container. Then reality hit - my weeds were coming back to life. The whole top would be dead (you really do need to spray every single leaf well) but then new growth comes. You get the picture. This product should be taken from the shelves as a complete failure. I will likely be taking the empty container back to Home Depot for a refund. That's right. I bought weed killer and it has completely failed to kill weeds. How else will a large corporation hear the message?

(What's this)
This weed killer is...KILLER! I had put the weed killer on wild mustard plants that grow prolifically in our back yard. The product was applied in the late morning on a sunny day. That night, it rained for at least six hours. The next afternoon, I went and checked on one of the test specimens and it was practically dead. The rain does not appear to have washed the weed killer off or hampered its ability in any way. I will be using this product on all our fence lines and will continue to attack the wild mustard in the yard. The only downside has to be the sprayer. The spring in the sprayer is very weak and would not move back to its open position after spraying. It needed to be helped forward so it could draw another squirt.

(What's this)
I was looking for an alternative to the other more common brands that have been linked to health issues. The prospect of finding an organic alternative that's effective in killing grass and weeds led me to DR. EARTH 24 OZ. READY-TO-USE WEED AND GRASS HERBICIDE. I haven't found this to be effective in and around planting beds, trees and near the garden. It's not all bad news, I like the way the sprayer snaps back in the handle for storage.

(What's this)
I really really wanted to be able to recommend this product, especially since it's organic and a nice change from the more typical weed killers that are much harsher. But - after a couple of trials, it doesn't really kill the weeds. It has been cool and gray here for a couple weeks so I haven't had a chance to test per the package instructions (sunny heat of the day). So far, all I've noticed is browning right where the spray touched the weeds without fully killing them. Plus the spray trigger is balky, so I can't fully recommend this.

(What's this)
I would recommend Dr Earth Ready To Use Weed and Grass Herbicide for small problem areas. I had a pool removed last year. I planted grass and suddenly I had a lot of weeds. They must have been in the fill dirt I had brought in. I first tried a weed and grass mixture which didn't work as well. I then used Dr. Earth Ready To Use Weed and Grass Herbicide and it kept led the weeds in just days.

Seeds Program Review
(What's this)
I have my "go to" product brands when it comes to my yard chemicals. Didn't know what to expect as this was a product that I've not used in the past. The ready to use type products means there's nothing to prepare and that you just start spraying anything that you wish to be gone... and 'gone' it went. I was a little apprehensive about applying, since I was aware that it was overcast and threatening to rain. I did a really quick spray to some annoying weeds close to my front door. Less that 2 hours later came a brief but very strong downpour. Didn't think any more about it until I noticed later the following day that there was obvious yellowing of the weeds that I had quickly sprayed. Only complaint was that the sprayer head did not give a consistent application of the product and I had to pump two to three times to get it to work. I now must go back and redo the areas I missed. Great product.

Seeds Program Review
(What's this)
I found that the Dr. Earth Final Stop Weed & Grass Killer did a very good job of killing weeds and grass. The product is all natural, safe for pets and children and it really works! However, it MUST applied in direct sun. I suggest applying at mid-day when shadows are least because the product really doesn’t work when applied in the shade. I applied the Dr. Earth Final Stop Weed & Grass Killer under full sun and was surprised when I returned a couple of hours later to find that all of the grass and weeds that I had sprayed were wilted and dead. It doesn’t take a lot of product to be effective when applied in direct sun. I have used Round-Up for years and was skeptical that the Dr. Earth Final Stop Weed & Grass Killer would really work, but I was surprised at how quickly and how effectively it killed everything.
