Answer This Question
A: Chris - If you are referring to a concrete floor, then yes - DRYLOK® Fast Plug will work in the holes. Please refer to the graphic in the "Surface Preparation" section at this link: https://d2w8l4nyjr77a0.cloudfront.net/resources/Product-Data-Sheets/drylok-fast-plug-pds.pdf
If your damaged area looks like the "incorrect" drawing, it would be best to drill the holes to create a pocket for the patch. Hydraulic cement expands as it cures, the hole will create an area that the patch will expand and lock into place. DRYLOK® Fast Plus is paintable after it has cured. If you have any additional questions, you can reach our Product Support Team at 1-800-845-5227.

Works as it should.
I have used it over the years to fill in the holes left in the foundation wall from the form ties. Just filled in few more recently, the picture of the finished wall is from about 6 years ago, finished with UGL Drylock that was tinted a beige color. It does set up in 3-5 minutes so only mix what you can use!

Pretty amazing. Water coming into the basement at a fast enough rate that I had to build a dam out of expanding foam to contain it so I could vacuum it out every ten minutes. ( There was a drainage change outside.)
The water was coming in a gap of broken concrete around the sewer pipe. I chiseled some space for the cement, mixed a batch of drylok, squished it in the gaps and held in the lowest area with my fingers until the drylok hardened in a minute or two. No more leak. The plumbers were not going to get here for two weeks and one of them told me about drylok. I scurried to HD to get it. It was going to be an awful night vacuuming and dumping, not a drop has come in ever since the patch.

I used this product to seal a 3-foot long leaking crack in my poured basement wall. The crack leaked pretty significantly during heavy rains. I chiseled out both edges of the crack to produce a v-crotch that would hold the cement, and used a putty knife to apply it on both the interior and exterior of the foundation (yes, I had to dig a 3-ft. hole at the foundation!). This stuff drys very, very fast, so you only mix a small batch at a time. Twenty-four hours after the application, I soaked the area using a garden hose to simulate the conditions under which it had leaked previously, and no leak! This stuff works as advertised.

Fast Plug Hydraulic Cement - cures VERY FAST.
Part of my difficulty is probably user related since I have never worked with this product but it cures extremely fast. I'm sure that is a great thing for active leaks so I can't criticize it for that but I needed it for fine cracks along the mortar joints in our garage wall. Follow the instructions by mixing a single small batch since it does set so quickly. I used a scraper at first but the cement was too loose and dripped everywhere but by the time it set up to a workable consistency, it quickly passed that point and started to harden. I found it much easier to use gloved hands and manually scoop the mixture out and quickly apply it to the small cracks. I'll try to follow up on this review in the future.

This stuff "really" works if you follow directions!
Had a water leak in my basement wall( below the window) which looked like a previous plug might have worn out. Filled in the plug/hole with the DryLok and held it in place for 3-5 minutes. Water stopped. Will let plug set for 48 hours and paint with DryLok waterproof paint.

Works great, even when used for what it wasn't intended.
In my closet, the back wall of that closet was against my Farmer's porch. The closet was always cold. So I ripped out the drywall to find no insulation at all. also, at the bottom of the closet where the floor meets the wall, there was moisture. Basically the wood floor ended, there was a gap and then I could see where my porch slate started. I mixed this up and poured it into the gap to fill it and lock out any more moisture. It mixed and spread great and sealed all the empty space. I would imagine this will work great. Next step is to seal the outside as well.

Very pleased so far, wasn’t prepared for how quickly it sets up. Don’t mix too much at a time will harden before you get it applied!
