I got these rollers to replace the old, worn rollers in our most used garage door. They are pretty easy to install, fit perfectly and are quieter than the old ones. Overall I'm pleased with them. I did have a couple issues with the installation that are worth passing on. First is that our garage doors are 8 feet tall while many are 7 feet tall. So the door needed 12 rollers rather than 10. I need to get two more to finish the job but most garage doors will only need 10 rollers. It's a good idea to count them before purchasing. The second issue was when I was replacing the bottom roller on one side (with the door all the way up to take the tension off the bottom bracket where the cable connects to the torsion springs) the movement of the bottom door panel released the slight tension on the cable spool on the other end of the door. I had to rewind the cable onto that spool before I could lower the door again.

Looking for a heavy duty 2 inch overhead door roller? Then look no further. These 4 inch coated stemmed door rollers are really tough. I picked these Dura Lift 2 inch rollers for a project I'll be doing this fall. The bearings are sealed, they have a nice coated stem and are super quiet. Longer life should be expected versus the standard cheap roller you normally find.

My garage door is from the early 1950's an the old metal rollers were a bit noisy even with regular lubrication. These nylon rollers fit in perfectly and cut down the noise quite a bit. I replaced all the rollers except the two bottom ones since that's a little more involved and I can clearly hear the difference between the metal and nylon rollers. Fit was perfect. It was a little bit of a challenge working with such and old garage door but I was able to get it done and will replace the last two when I have some help. The rollers appear to be well made with smooth bearings. The end of the rollers are sealed to keep the bearings clean. When I was done replacing the rollers I also lubricated all the hinges and the door is very quiet now with my belt drive garage door opener.

This is an excellent 10 pack of Dura-Lift 2 inch sealed nylon garage door replacement rollers. My rollers were starting to show sighs of wear so I replaced the rollers on my nosiest of my two garage doors. I like the corrosion resistant triple coated stems in a deep bronze color. They were easy to install if you look at the installation guide on the Home Depot product links on this product, because no instructions were included in the box. The ten pack was enough to do one garage door. I also like the sealed bearings to keep out dirt and they work very smoothly. Very pleased with this upgrade to my garage door, it works very smoothly and is also very quiet.

Super simple way to help reduce the sounds made by your old garage door opening and closing. We used these nylon rollers to replace our really old metal rollers and saw greatly reduced noise when opening and closing our garage. One 10-pack will replace all the rollers on a standard 4 panel door. If you have a taller than average garage door you will need additional rollers to replace them all. These are SUPER simple to replace, we just removed the 4 bolts on each roller piece, slide the old roller out and slide the new one in.

DURA-LIFT Ultra-Life MAX Plus 2 in. Sealed 6200ZZ Nylon Garage Door Roller with 4 in. Corrosion Resistant Stem (10-Pack) My friend recommended I get these as an upgrade/replacement for the rollers I had on my door. These worked VERY well and I recommend them. Super easy to install especially with a belt drive garage door opener that make it super quiet. ATTENTION! Do not unbolt the bottom hinges that have the cable attached, that would be bad and possible it can injury you, also the cable will unwind and now you have to repair that mess. To get the final rollers off the cable hinge roller, slide the door part-way up and bend the galvanized roller-channel enough to pop the roller out and the new one back in. Then bend the channel back. Job-down, door quiet again. The coating on the shaft will make them last longer along with sealed bearings, no need to grease this whiles.

The DURA-LIFT 2 in. nylon garage door roller is a well-made door roller for your garage door. The roller replaces old, noisy or broken sectional, track-style garage door rollers. The nylon wheel results in the quieter and smoother opening and closing of your garage door. The seal on the bearing will protect dust, dirt and grime from getting to the bearing grease. The black oxide coated stem is corrosion resistance and is perfect for doors in high moisture areas. The manufacturer claims that the 6200ZZ bearing is rated for 250,000 door cycles for a 110 lb. door. The total length of the roller is approximately 5 inches. This is the perfect DIY garage door project to reduce your garage opening and closing noise by up to 75%. I suggest that you use Google search to assist you in replacing the garage rollers safely since there are no instructions with the rollers.

Our garage had some noisy metal garage door rollers and always made creaking ang banging noises. We looked for nylon rollers as we heard that can quite the door down quite a bit. These are not only nylon but all ball bearing and corrosion resistant. After we replaced the old rollers with these the sound is much improved. The door still make some creaking but the banging noises have stopped. Only downside is we have 12 rollers on our door and there are only 10 rollers in the package.

Smooth, quiet rollers are a great upgrade for a noisy garage door Safety first! Never disconnect the bottom bracket! The best instructions I found for replacing the rollers was on YouTube: search for “How to replace garage door rollers @ veteran garage door.” The relative ease of installation depends on your garage door and rails. This doesn’t reflect on the rollers - they’re great. Just be aware of the potential effort. It’s amazing what a difference new rollers can make, especially these high-quality “DURA-LIFT Ultra-Life MAX Plus 2 in. Sealed 6200ZZ Nylon Garage Door Roller”. There are cheaper rollers that have metal wheels instead of nylon, and basic bearings instead of sealed. But the less expensive rollers will be noisier and won’t last as long. While you’re going to the effort of replacing the rollers, it’s worth the small extra investment to get the benefits of nylon and sealed bearings. Despite being listed as “two inch” they are actually 1.82” in diameter, which seems to be the standard for residential garage doors. The wheel is 9/16” thick, and the overall length is 4.85” (see pics). This 10-pack should cover most standard-height garage doors. Taller doors will require more. Recommended. Model # DLR6200Z

Well Designed. Lifetime warranty bearings. Corrosion resistance stem. Easy to Install. Seem slightly quieter too! Expecting these to be the last rollers needed. Ten rollers arrived in a small box with no instructions. Not too difficult to figure out how to install, except the lower roller with the lift cable attached. Installation Guide is online on the product page. Seem well designed.
