No, we don't recommend converting this generator to natural gas to avoid potential damage to the generator. Please note any conversion can also affect existing warranties on the unit. We apologize for the inconvenience. For further questions please feel free to contact us at 844-DUROMAX.
We don't include a transfer switch for these models and the transfer switches will need to be purchased third party, but you can hook this generator up to any 10 circuit manual transfer switch with a 50 amp inlet. For further questions please feel free to contact us at 844-DUROMAX.
The XP5500E will have a THD of about 10-12% under load.
The generator will need to be ran for at least an hour a month to keep its battery charged, or if you're planning on storing the generator for a longer period of time; then we'd recommend using a 12V trickle charger that's compatible with SLA batteries to keep the battery maintained. For further questions please feel free to contact us at 844-DUROMAX.
Hello Carter, thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. We sincerely apologize for this item being out of stock. At this time, we do not have a forecasted date for the return of the 3300-Watt Recoil Start Gasoline Powered Portable Generator. We recommend adding your email for notification of their arrival. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
it can only do up to 50 amps, so if your hot tub pulls and is hooked to a 60 amp, then i would say no. if it pulls less, then it could. you need to do a load test. thats what we did. we tested every item that would be used during the outage. in our case, we had a sub panel installed, so you pick and choose what you want to run, and maybe turn some items off while using a hefty one like the hot tub.
they should be covered, not meant to run in the rain or snow, so we got this. you can raise the flaps and one side is clearly venting the exhaust.
Not this model. Duromax sells a model of this same rating but they put its dual fuel capability right in its name. If it doesn’t say propane it doesn’t work with propane. As for natural gas I do not know but I wouldn’t want this unit attached to my domestic natural gas line.
No, the generator will be already provided with the propane regulators needed for the generator to hook up directly to the propane bottle. For further information please feel free to contact us at 844-DUROMAX.
You can use any 12V trickle charger that's compatible with SLA batteries. For further information please feel free to contact us at 844-DUROMAX.
