As a rule, gloss tiles are more apt to be slippery when wet. on the 12x24 tile I would recommend greater than 1/8th grout line. (from a remodeler)
What type of adhesive is needed to install on drywall walls?
Modified polimer thinset. I would treat the surface with coat of Redguard first.
