We visited a local tile store. With the color variations, we were able to make several selections and then decide.

is there a trim piece for the end and do you need to use sealant when finished.

In 2015 this tile was offered in a 2 X 4 size and I need 5 pieces. Is this size still available?

Answer

Don’t believe this question is relevant to the item we purchased since you are referring to a 2 x 4 size, and size we purchased was as shown (12 x 12 x 6). Suggest you check the website or your local Home Depot. Good luck!

From the very little I know about tile - I'd say no. it's thinner and likely to break down or crack over time. Better to call Home Depot and ask one of their tile guys for sure.

Yes If you are putting them in the bath tub area you will need to put up sheet rock for wet areas.

The product looks great as our new backsplash. We picked it to highlight our new kitchen cabinets and counter top and we think it really pulls it all together. We are having the grout applied this week but since you asked for the review I'll just show the picture of the kitchen needing the grout and electric outlets put back in.

The tile gives a spa feeling to a bathroom but there are too many dark brown tiles to the pattern. I removed the dark brown tiles so there were only 2 to a sheet and replaced the missing tiles with glass tiles. That really made it look awesome. This picture shows the tile before we grouted it but includes the glass tiles and a border we made from some left over tiles we had from a different bathroom remodel. If you soften the look by removing some of the brown tiles, feel creative to replace them with something else like we did.

We purchased this tile to do a kitchen backsplash as well as a backsplash around our laundry tub. This tile is beautiful. It went up very easy. Cutting was a breeze. We used a wet saw. We purchased the correct amount that we figured and we were right on the money. These tiles were easy to cut apart. The tiles didn't have a full mesh but the tiles were attached with two pieces of material and was easy to cut with exacto knife. We used a premixed mastic to apply the tiles to the wall. We also used a premixed grout. Both were successful. We didn't want to go with the mess of mixing our own. We did not install tile all they way up to the bottom of the microwave because we plan on replacing it with a slightly bigger microwave and didn't want to have to remove the tiles later. This was a first time at installing tile. The tiles and supplies we used made this a great project for us as first time tilers.
