Not as Good as Before
This is the 2nd Danby Wine Cooler I have purchased. Unfortunately, this one does not fit as many round bottles of wine as my previous cooler. If the bottle is at all "fat" and not tall/thin, it won't fit on most of the shelves.

The temperature range for this Wine Cooler is approximately 42.8° - 57.0°F (6°-14°C). The cooling element does not have any temperature control. The inside of the cooler was too cold...
The cooling element does not have any temperature control. The inside of the cooler was too cold for wine even with the rheostat turned to the warmest setting.

I am sorry to hear that your are experiencing issues with your Danby Wine cooler. Please attempt the following trouble shooting options:
- Try a hard reset by unplugging the unit for a minimum of 5 minutes and then plug it back in
- Ensure unit is leveled
- Ensure you are not using extension cords
- Ensure it is not near any heat sources/in direct sunlight
- Check the door seal: You can test the seal and correct the problem with a check-size piece of paper and a hair dryer set on low.
To test the seal, you will need to open the door and place the paper on the fridge frame. Hold the paper in place and close the door. Once the door is closed, you remove the paper. If you are finding resistance, that means the gasket is sealing properly. Try the paper test in multiple spots around the door frame, and if you find an area without resistance, you would heat the gasket with the hair dryer. This should expand the seal and resolve the leak.

This was advertised as a wine refrigerator however at the lowest setting it maintains a temperature of 57 degrees, too cold for red wine!
