I was surprised that these are glue-on lights instead of...
I was surprised that these are glue-on lights instead of using screws to fasten them to the posts. The light they throw is dim (by design) but uses mirrors in a way that reflects the intense LED bulb into your eyes when you're walking near the lights.

Not Bright
Nice looking post cap, good quality, But not at all bright.
I have them on post at the road on each side of my driveway.
I think I may need to replace them with something else.

poor lighting
Poor lighting, the light stayed lite was for maybe 2 hours.Very poor lighting you could barely tell it was on.
I returned the item to homedepot in Silver Spring, Maryland

Solar cap lights are not worth the money.
The solar cap lights last only one summer season, that is why the warranty is only 90 days. Expensive ni-cad batteries are necessary, then when you buy replacements and install, the top unit fails to light. Bugs, nats and spiders love them as habitats. Do your research before you purchase!
