Become a slumlord to bats!
How many bats can you fit in a palm sized space? 5 maybe,if they're sharing warmth but there isn't a species on earth tiny enough to cram 50 in there. Cedar smells nice, looks good, but there are no foot grips on the inside for them. Gonna have to modify it. Wouldn't have bought a premade thing if I wanted to do work on it.

Pleasently surprised, AND US made
This is a well-built bathouse, made of cedar so it is very rot resistant. The painted top is plywood, which isn’t rot resistant, therefore 4 stars. The pleasant surprise- this is made by a non-profit organization in Missouri that employs 30 adults with various disabilities. They also produce cedar birdhouses. As a parent of an adult child with learning disabilities, I applaud this organization and will buy more of thier products to support them. Thank you HD for offering these products.

Although we haven't attracted many bats yet, but we've seen the same design online and we hope to relocate our resident bats from our patio umbrella. Looks attractive on the fence as well. Very happy!

This bat house is very cute and appears to be a good home for bats. It was a gift for a family who has some country property and a few livestock. Hopefully it will help with the bug problem there. We won't know until later this year. I cannot give it 5 stars since it is too early to call it a success.
