burned up first flip of the switch and I do this for a living
it burns up first time I flipped the switch I have been an electrician for 5 years so I know I didn't do it wrong what junk for 25 bucks might as well buy a knew fixtur from a company that does lighting there locks are ok

LED IS NO PROBLEM FOR ME
Adapted this sensor to an existing outdoor fixture that I have. I only use one 60/9w dimmable led bulb. Even the dual bright setting works. Not sure why other people have problems using an Led.

High quality replacement sensor that is easy to install
One of my motion control lights stopped working after a few years. I went to Home Depot and thought about replacing the entire light. I bought my light several years ago and it has a metal base. When I looked at the motion control lights, I could get one with a plastic base for what I originally paid or I could get one with a metal base that was double the cost. Plus, the lights that they have now have a different mounting pattern. That would have been a hassle to install.
I noticed that I could get a replacement sensor for less money than buying the light. My light was in great shape so it didn't need to be replaced. I bought the replacement sensor. I removed the light and replaced the sensor. It only took about 30 minutes to an hour to remove the light, replace the sensor, and reinstall the light. It was very easy.
The light now functions perfectly. It has been a few weeks and it seems to work well. It appears to be a high quality replacement.
If you have an outside light that stops working, it is most likely the sensor unit. If your light is still in good shape, just buy the replacement sensor.

Very poor quality, especially for something you have to climb a ladder and wire into a circuit
I wired this in and it stopped working the second day. Of course, I can flip the switch and force it on, but I'd be better off without this "sensor".
I guess that's what it boils down to, it's lazy, most of the time it doesn't sense, the LED doesn't flicker when you walk by, wave your hands, jump up and down, drive a car past it at 80 MPH (boy, the neighbors were really annoyed when I ended up in their back yard).
Quite simply, avoid the mistake I made and spend a little more.

Thank you for reaching out about the issue that has occurred with the motion sensor. The model does have the Dual Bright feature and one of the options for that is Dusk to Dawn. If the unit is set to dusk to dawn it will stay on the whole night. If your sensor is not set to dusk to dawn please contact technical support at 1-800-858-8501 and they will assist with finding a solution.
