Affordably outfit interior doors with this lockable knob set from Defiant. The Brandywine Privacy knob easily mounts to doors 1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick with the included hardware. A new design feature is the 70 mm rose plate that easily covers paint rings left from previous door hardware installations. Perfect for bedroom and bathroom doors beyond which privacy is sometimes desired. Provided with this set is an adjustable backset and interchangeable faceplates for drive-in and traditional installations. This sturdy knob nicely coordinates with other fixtures in your home for a cohesive look. A lifetime warranty ensures that this device will withstand frequent use.

Good quality for the price.
Look good, qood quality for the low price. Not an exact fit for one of my doors (latch plate bowed when the screws were tightened) although it could be that the hole for the handle is slightly offset. Haven't installed any others yet. Pleased overall.

I LOVE THIS DOORKNOB!
I am definitely not a handy woman, but this was pretty darn easy to set up. I finished setting this thing up in less than 10 minutes, and that's saying something. I definitely recommend this product.

DO NOT PURCHASE
I bought an entire house worth of this company's knobs in various models. Outdoor lock, inside lock, regular, and pulling for a closet. The bathroom lock version which I have pictured below jammed while I was inside leaving me trapped for hours with no escape. Eventually my wife returned home and jammed it with a screwdriver and it unlocked. I have 2 little children which could have been trapped inside. This is completely terrifying. I bought 36 total knobs from this company and am livid. I'd appreciate Defiant reaching out to discuss.

Reasonable priced compared to other name brands. Installs easily and works great. The only recommendation would be to use longer screws in the strike plate, especially if your installing a replacement.

latch assembly disintegrated
I installed per instructions. only to find the door would open in one direction and the latch would get stuck. I disassembled and saw that the latch assembly had started breaking apart.
