The Hartford Keyed Entry knob has been newly designed with a 70 mm Rose Plate that easily mounts to doors 1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick with the included hardware. The new design provides coverage of paint rings left from previous installations of door hardware. It is perfect for entry, basement or garage doors beyond which security is needed. It features adjustable backsets and interchangeable faceplates for drive-in and traditional installations. The sturdy knob nicely coordinates with other fixtures in your home for a cohesive look. Not durable
I’ve had to replace this knob twice now in about a year. Eventually the mechanism on the inside wears out or breaks and you can’t turn the knob. I guess when you buy the cheapest item you get what you pay for.

I bought this keyed door knob for an under-the-stairs closet in my basement. It looks pretty nice and was half the price of the more nicely packaged big brand names. I would rate it as more than average if the manufacturer would make the investment for better instructions. I've installed enough door knobs that I got it in fine, but it's just annoying that the instructions don't at least include explanatory sentences with the pictures.
