Product Details

Defiant provides security and convenience with the new Wi-fi Electronic Deadbolt with Handle. This deadbolt can be unlocked several ways. Remotely with the Hubspace App when utilizing the included smart indoor plug, Bluetooth with the Hubspace App, Digital keypad or a traditional key 2 keys included. Installation is easy with no hardwiring required and only requires a Phillips screwdriver for existing cutouts Pre-drilled. This unit is ideal for entry doors between 1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick. The Handle is proven for durability and elegance that pairs nicely with the Wi-Fi Deadbolt. The design of the handle also provides easy installation with only a Phillips screwdriver.

Q:Can the Hartford Interior Knob be replaced with a Defiant Freedom door handle? And if so, which would I purchase, an entry handle, Bed & Bath handle, or Hall & Closet handle? Interior handle doesn't have to lock since we will be using the deadbolt.

A:  Hi Jerry, Unfortunately, this set will only fit doors between 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. No extension kits are available at this time. Thank you for your question.

    Q:Can the Hartford Interior Knob be replaced with a (Defiant) Naples scroll knob? We're redoing all the door hardware throughout the house and would like it to match the Naples Scroll style we're using everywhere.

    A:  Hi Frank, Yes, you can replace a knob with a lever if they are the same function. Entry levers will only work with entry knobs. Privacy levers will only work with privacy knobs. Thank you for your question.

      This lock works great for me.
      Although I had a mishap with the product shipment, I did receive my complete lock set. The only downside which took me a few hours to understand is that you need to use the smart plug provided as the "hub" to connect to the internet which is not specified in the directions/instructions. Great product though.
