Yes the rock will support weight on it, they rock is made from polyethylene plastic and quite durable.

Does this rock include any pegs for anchoring. I have really high wind and if it's not anchored it will end up in the neighbors yard if not down the street.
Lori the stakes are there to keep the rock in place however if winds are a concern burying the flanges can also be done to secure the rock in place or simply use larger steel nails or stakes typically found at home supply stores as an additional option. regards
How well do these types of covers hold up to children climbing on them? Are they strong enough to hold a child's weight?
Cody the flat models will deflect with someone standing or sitting on, however the plastic is quite flexible and will return to the original shape with no concern of cracking or fracturing. regards
would this fit over a 20" x 31" rectangle lid? the lid is only 1 inch tall.

My septic cover is patially covered by a moveable deck and i need to be able butt it up nice and close to the deck.
Be careful this is plastic you're cutting and it can crack..
Heatherjoy, Yes! the rocks can be cut and are easy to do with a scroll saw. the integrity is diminished a small amount but that is only if you intend to stand or sit on the rock. No worries if this is installed next to a vertical object such as your deck. Regards,
Yes, I think the cover could be cut. The material is similar to an ABS plastic. Due to the size, it will tend to flex as you cut so, be careful and use the right tool. I would suggest a jig saw with a fine blade designed for plastics, an oscillating saw, a Robo saw, or perhaps a battery powered reciprocating saw - something that allows you a look of control for dealing with the uneven shape. I would also recommend not doing it by yourself as someone should hold the cover and help maneuver it while you are cutting. Good luck!!
Can a person walk on these, are they easily moved to a new spot either intentionally or accidentally when walking on them.
Since the rock is hollow, I wouldn't recommend walking on it although it is pretty sturdy. The rock is not heavy and is easily moved. It came with 4 garden stakes that fit into indented holes on the underside. If you use the pegs to secure the rock, they can be pulled up and moved just as easily.
Home Depot carries several different types and styles. I used the Pavestone SandStone 25 in. x 14 in. x 2 in. Cafe Concrete Step Stone - they worked great!!
