AnswersNo, it is bolted onto the steel extension and cannot easily be removed. Even if you remove the wing, the front and back rails are continuous, so you would have to remove them too. I would not classify this as portable in any way.

its is a really nice and powerful saw the fence and blade were all square and aligned correctlysome things I wish were different were a longer power cord, the big extension piece on the right was metal, it had a zero clearance place, and that all 52 inches of the rip fence were useable I can only use about 46 which isn't really a problem just a little annoying other than those tiny annoyances it is an epic saw

The saw was fairly easy to assemble. I love the huge table as it has increased my work area considerably! The fence is accurate and substantial. Everything seems to be working as it should. I'm very pleased with it!

Just like others motor failed after 5-days of light duty use. Before purchasing I saw the negative reviews regarding the motor and called Delta to see if they were aware of the issues. Delta CS said they were aware of it and the issues had been corrected and all new saws purchased have the corrected remedy. Obviously not. Returned to the store and purchased a Rigid table saw. Really disappointed because when the saw ran it worked really good. Why Delta tampered with a tried and true saw adding a subpar "newer" "updated" motor behooves me.
