The shower faucet has a continued slow drip after shut off Which part should to be replaced?
Asked by: gracie
Thank you for your question, gracie! I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing a drip. This can typically be resolved by replacing the seats, springs, and quad seals which are available separately as part number RP28603. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend replacing the cartridge. Best regards, Jon Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet

It has been too many months since I installed this. I would highly recommend calling Delta Support for help with this. They are great at walking you through the problem & solution. Make sure you have the model number of your faucet/control when you call. Over the years, I have contacted them numerous times for help with repairing/replacing faucets/parts. They're great!

What part # do I need to replace the valve in my shower? The handle says 34688-01XX L-2. No # on the Valve

Asked by: Lian
Don't bother contacting Delta customer service via email, I sent them my contact info, faucet number, fact that I was original owner. I have now waited a week and have heard nothing, your better off just to google your question or take your part to home depot and let them help you.

Is this the part I need to fix the shower tower 17 series valve where the spray comes out. If not please tell me what I need and where to get it plus how to install it?
Asked by: Richard
I used this to fix a drip/leak from my circa 2005 Delta shower assembly. This package is an exact replacement for the original. Newer Delta showers use a different replacement part. Check their website for details. Be careful when unscrewing the part that holds the cartridge in place, it is brass an can be bent/warped easily. I needed to purchase a strap wrench since large slip-joint wrenches can only apply pressure in two places and will deform the brass. The strap wrench makes contact around the entire surface which prevents deforming the large thin brass retaining nut. I thoroughly cleaned all the interior surfaces and threads before reassembly. I used plumbers grease on the large O rings to ensure smooth handle operation. Not a hard job with the correct tools, just take your time.
