An attractive mirror and heavy enough but not too heavy. Well made. Excellent value for the price.

I'd imagined this installation was going to be a big ordeal, but Delta made it very DIY friendly. There are only a few simple steps to the installation, including screwing in 4 pre-drilled posts and attaching some clips. Then leveling and affixing the bracket (level included!) to the wall, and viola! Took a total of about 20-30 minutes. The mirror can be installed with or without the frame and the frame can even be switched out for a different style frame, so the look can easily be changed any time. You could even paint the plastic frame (spray recommended) if you wanted to change the color out of preference or due to wear over time. Instructions for disassembly to change the look are actually included. The frame and mirror are lightweight and easy to handle and the chrome finish trimmed with a white linen colored/textured center looks fashionable and matches just about anything. If you chose to go sans-frame, the mirror is beveled and has a simple sophisticated look. Mirror reflection is also terrific quality. I apparently measured my space incorrectly, not accounting for my vanity light globes, so I had to forego the frame since the mirror does not mount flush to the wall and would have caused space issues with my faucet. It also had a tiny fracture in the plastic, anyway. But I really do like the look. I'll be looking at other Delta styles like this for dual mirrors in my larger master bath because I change my mind constantly and appreciate the decorative versatility of these mirrors. I happily give this mirror a good recommendation.

This 11 1/4 lb chrome octagon framed mirror is very attractive. It is easy to assemble and can be hung vertically or horizontally. The metal knobs, you screw into the back of the glass mirror, are 2 fold. First, to lift the mirror and place it into its' frame. Second, to place it on the easy-cleat mounting hardware. The frame is plastic so it will mar up easily. The company forgot to include the 8 clips which hold the mirror secure to the frame. After 3 weeks, they did send me 6 of the 8 required clips. When I receive the other 2, I will hand this mirror in my living room.

Delta products are typically very well made and this mirror seems to be just that - well made. It came in 2 pieces and needed to be put together. The frame was 1 piece and the mirror glass was shipped packed in a protective cardboard sleeve. It went together very easily, using the plastic clips it comes with. The wall mount is the only thing I didn't really care for. It's a nice set up, don't get me wrong, it just makes the mirror stick out from the wall even farther than it needs to. The pieces that attach to the mirror stick out just over an inch, bringing the mirror out that far, so it can't be flush mounted. Looks great, just wish it didn't stick out that far.

When updating an old “plain Jane” vanity, I sought something with much more “personality” and I believe I succeeded with the Octagonal Deluxe Glass Mirror & Float Mount Hardware in Classic Chrome. The 26”x34” size fit perfectly in the tight space of a vanity I had to work with. I chose the classic chrome because it goes with the current as well as future bathroom décor. This whole product line fascinates me. If ‘octagon’ isn’t your thing, the mirror is available in other shapes. In addition, if the classic chrome doesn’t do it for you, the frame is available in a half-dozen other finishes. Or perhaps you don’t want a frame at all – the mirror has a beveled edge that looks great even without a frame! I like the ease of the float-mount system, and how it allows the freedom to easily hang the mirror horizontally as well as vertically. It makes the mirror appear to “hover” an inch or two away from the wall, and having the mirror that much closer to you does in fact make a big difference in appearance as well as function. The Easy-Cleat system is a blessing. I am “measurement-challenged” and can never seem to get it right. It was so nice to be able to rectify my inaccuracy simply by sliding the mirror, ever so slightly, on the bracket to get it centered. Even if you’re good, mistakes happen and you don’t want to find out too late. Few things stand out more than an odd-centered mirror. The mirror is very easy to assemble. Even though the clamps are plastic, I found them quite capable of holding the frame to the mirror firmly. The mounting “knobs”, which rest on the Easy Cleat, can be screwed on by hand right to the back of the mirror. HD claims, when you consider how many different mirrors and frame finishes they offer, that there are more than 200 different possible combinations. I think, the more of these mirror “kits” you own, the more mixing and matching fun one could have. Indeed, if I could sum up this product, line of products really, in one word, it’s “fun”. It’s odd to think of a mirror as “fun” but a real home-decorating enthusiast would love this product; switching up mirrors and frames (perhaps every season) just for the ‘fun’ of it. I think it’s handy because I can “update” the look of the mirror simply by changing the frame rather than having to pitch the old one and purchasing a whole new one. Yes, you can get less expensive mirrors but, you’re getting a lot less too. If you’re willing to spend just a little bit more for a mirror such as this, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

My friend installed it and it was very easy for him. This was the crowning jewel of my new bathroom, everyone asks where I got it and when I tell them that the frame can be switched if I get tired of the color. I've only had it for about 2 weeks and every day I love it more! I wish I knew how to send a photo.

For the price and consider these are a Delta product i expected much better quality. These are terrible. The only thing holding the frame together is cardboard stapled across each joint. Most frames has some form of metal across the joint to keep them rigid. Until you put the glass in the frame flexes really badly. Since the joints are loose even with the glass in the gaps at each joint is inconsistent.

It's beautiful. Delta did a great job and it was very easy to install and get level. Word to the wise, though, the little bubble level they give you doesn't work very well. Get a longer level if you really want it straight.
