Claretha, I'm sorry to hear that your shower head is leaking at the connection! Please check to ensure that there is no debris on the gasket and that the threads have 3-4 wraps of plumber's tape. Please feel free to call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email customerservice@deltafaucet.com for further assistance. We’d be happy to help! Best regards, Jon
Yes. Easy install. Very strong spray
Yes. I would pull the flow restrictor out of the shower head and control the volume of water with your valve. Great shower head and you will love the different settings on it.
I will not suggest this. It is a very poor design
The shower arm needs to be at least 6' or taller if the person that is the primary user is taller than that. A 6" straight to curved extension would be fine.
We used the heads on a normal height arrangement and a 45° arm. I don't see much reason they wouldn't work on any arm.
Usual height depends on the occupants. But 6 ft high is average. As long as your can reach it. I am 5'6' so this works just fine for me. As far as the shower arm. A standard shower arm of I believe 6 inches will work just fine. I believe they offer 6 inch and 8 inch arms. Either one will work. The shower head is not of a significant weight.
You can use a tool to tighten it just don't over tighten. Mine switched settings easily w/o a tool tighten.
Yes, hand tighten then with a wrench, channel lock pliers give it a 1/4 turn. That should take of the problem.
Sorry. But I haven't had that problem. Possibly return and replace with another one.
Yes you can tighten with a tool.
you can tighten it w/ a tool just don't over do it. Mine switched setting easily w/o problem
Hi godrwings, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please try soaking the shower head in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes. This will help dissolve minerals that can cause parts to stick. If this does not resolve the issue, please feel free to call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best regards, Jon
Sorry but I have no idea. All I know is it provides enough water for an excellent shower.
Hello NP, Thank you for asking your question on the 5-Spray 5 in. Shower Head in Chrome with Pause. This faucet, as all faucets with WaterSense technology have a flow rate of 2.0 GPM, or gallons per minute. To put this into context, a 10-minute shower would use 20 gallons of water. Wishing you a lovely day, Caleb Consumer Care Delta Faucet Company
Not sure, but if you have been using a water saver, watch your water bill. I believe it delivers twice the amount of a water saver. Notice that there is no flow restriction piece in the head. That is usually right before the rubber gasket.
2.0 it says on the description on the Home Depot ad
Because it's not offered. Sounds like a message to Home Depot is suggested. Chrome is now old school. Everyone is going to brushed nickel. Supply and demand!
Hi, Ross! Thank you for your question. We do have a 7" shower arm and flange can be purchased in chrome as well. The model number for these parts is RP40593 and RP6025. Here are the links to both parts: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-7-in-Shower-Arm-in-Chrome-RP40593/100416919 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-Standard-2-1-2-in-Diameter-Shower-Arm-Flange-in-Chrome-RP6025/100092133 Best Regards, Rosanna
I don't know. I purchased a new shower valve. That came with a new shower nipple and escutcheon. I'm sure you can buy these items separately.
Ask Delta ? They make em !!
So you have a plumbing system where water comes through both the over head shower and the bottom tap at the same time. If so, yes you can use the turn off feature.
No
no. It does not turn completely off. it still drips.
Hi, MaryKay! Thank you for your question. This shower head, 75554, does have a pause feature so that you can pause the shower head to use other parts of your shower/tub spout in your shower unit. Best Regards, Rosanna
Yes, one setting appears to be "off", but it does not appear to be a 100% "off". Some water still drips out of the shower head in this setting.
Yes it can. That is exactly how I installed mine.
Hi mbaker, Thank you for your question! You can install this shower head from a ceiling mount or 90 degree angle shower arm to use as a raincan type showerhead. Best regards, Jon
