Q:What are the differences between the 36-735T2 and the 36-5100T2? The 5000 series is around twice as expensive and I can't see what the exact differences are - please provide details so that I can make an appropriate investment.

A: The difference between the 36-725T2 and 36-5100T2 are the 5100 cast iron extension wings and the single rail fence. The 36-725T2 has Steel Extension wings and two front and rear rails.

A: The 10" Contractor Table Saw MODEL NUMBER: 36-5000T2 Rip Right of Blade: 30 in. (762 mm). However, the 10" Contractor Table Saw MODEL NUMBER: 36-5052T2 will handle Rip Right of Blade: 52 in. (1320.8 mm). So, to answer your question, the 36-5000T2 won't cut 36", but the 36-5052T2 will handle the cut.

Discouraged

This saw is advertised as a 36-in rip that is not so it is a 30 in rip which is far from 36 this saw is overpriced for what you're getting... the move around wheel on the front that you use to move it around is not working properly it wants to tip over not good I could have bought a better saw..... I will be surprised if you even post this .. I guess I just expected more from Delta my mistake.... never again!
