How to install What other parts do I need

AnswerHi Mary, Thank you for your question! This spout can be installed on a 3/4" threaded pipe nipple, 1/2" threaded nipple, or a smooth 1/2" copper pipe. No other parts are needed. Best regards, Jon

Solid metal here. No plastic. The longer spout was needed as the standard length spout flowed out on top of the overflow, not past it.
Lifetime Warranty Metal Spout for Oversized Tub/Shower

This is a little bit shorter than 6.7 inches at the spout's farthest point from the wall. A lot of plumping parts are plastic and offbrand, so it is really nice to get a Delta metal spout with a limited lifetime warranty. Standard spouts are shorter than this one, so you buy this one if you need the extra length. This works with a screw on or slip on pipe.

The installation took about fifteen minutes and was simple. The only problem was the time it took to receive the diverter.
