    It is very simple in design so blends with any decor. Easy to install and use. We purchased a 24” Moen Designer ADA grabbar from Home Depot and had it installed vertically to studs behind the tile in a guest bathroom, then added the shower mount and a Delta handshower. We liked it so much we later installed the same setup in the master bath when we retiled. Being able to adjust easily the shower height is great for children or adults, plus you can turn the spray out of the way when needed.

    Yes, it is for round grab bars. There are two adapters for the two standard diameters used for grab bars.

    Yes, it can slide up and down the grab bar which makes it convenient for people of differing heights. The lever on the side opens/closes to adjust/lock in place. Even when locked, the mount can swivel to turn the spray.

    I have not seen it offered in either of those finishes. Flexibility is needed in order to spring the piece over your existing Grab bar.

    Can your ADA hand-held shower mount be used with an existing hand-held head which is Not a Delta?

    Yes. The hose connector on hand showers are basically universal tapered so most will fit.

    I have only just installed this piece, so I have not given it the longevity test. The unit does have a lifetime warranty however. I wanted to be able to mount the shower wand to a horizontal grab bar and this works! I use a seat in the shower because I’m an amputee, and this makes life easier. I also bought one for the horizontal grab bar in the bath tub so we can rinse our hair or body without having to get up. It is really easy to install, and comes with the needed parts to install it on the two common grab bar sizes; 1 1/2” and 1 1/4”. The actual part that the shower wand slips into pivots 360 degrees making even more adjustable.

    The mount fits Delta hand shower heads ONLY
    The "Hand Shower Mount Instructions" does NOT mention the part "hand shower holder" holds only Delta hand shower heads. My shower heads of two different non-Delta brands found the holder opening was too small to be useful. I called Delta support and had to wait for 45 minutes to get help (yes forty-five minutes). I was lucky that Jessica G, an outstanding associate, helped me out with her abundant knowledge of Delta products. Looks like I have to throw away my good and working non-Delta shower heads as my grandma really needs the mount for showering. The mount itself is very good and solid, so 4-stars overall.

    Does NOT fit on1.25" bar
    This fits wobbly on a 1.25" bar even after I added extra padding. It will just scratch up the oil-rubbed-bronze bar. I wasted over an hour trying to get it to fit right with padding & still be able to get the screw on.
