Ara 1-Spray 1.75 GPM Slide Bar Mount Hand Shower Featuring H2Okinetic in Matte Black

The Ara-1 Spray Handshower arrived early. It was well packed.There were no missing parts. The directions were not clear. But, it can only go together one way. It is high quality stainless steel. My shower is 59 long and the hose stretches the entire length. The slide bar is in the back and I have to grasp it with both hands to move it up and down. It moves smoothly when pressed firmly. I drilled it a bit close to the original shower head. I wanted to drill into the grout lines, not the tile. I put it together and placed it on the wall to determine proper placement of holes. It can attach to the original shower head neck, a diverter, or a wall supply elbow. I attached mine to a 3-way diverter. The water pressure is great for having only 4 holes. It is the h2o Kinetics. The pressure does go down when I have the showerhead on at the same time.But, with both of them on the pressure is still good. We use this to shower, massage our back, knees, hand held hair washer, and to clean the shower. The stainless does get water spots, but so does the chrome.I thought I was missing the end caps. I called Delta and got through right away. They were extremely helpful and offered to send the parts out right away. I called them back and cancelled the parts once I found them in the shipping box. Again, I got through right away and the employees were extremely understanding, and helpful. The Ara enhances our showering experience. The only con, I wish I would have placed it lower on the wall to hit all angles on my back. Too bad they don't have remote controls for shower heads.

Delta Universal shower bar. Mixed feelings here ,this is basically a bar hose and head. Not really what I was expecting. Overall quality is nice quality finish modern shower head well though out slider with a positive lock. Install is straight forward , you will need to drill into the wall surface. The supply hose can mount to the existing shower extension as a replacement for the head otherwise you will need a conversion tee to put in line with existing shower head. There are no controls on the shower head so when the shower is on the head will be dispensing water. A tee with a control switch can solve this if your intention was to have a separate wand shower head. Stand alone this kits is nice but feel would be better if were with connections and on off control at the wand. Probably higher expectations on my part that this would have been a complete kit though I still would recommend it .

The ARA 1-SPRAY HANDSHOWER WITH H2OKINETIC IN STAINLESS by Delta is every bit the quality you have come to expect from Delta products. Super easy to install, a DIY'er should have no problems. The "H2OKinetic" head is self cleaning and adjustable, the hose stretches up to 86 inches, which is great for those hard to reach places! The showerhead bracket slides the entire 28 inches of the mounting bar.

I usually like to use chrome fixtures in a bathroom, but in this case the stainless steel looks better because of the modern shape and overall look of this hand shower and it easily coordinates with other chrome pieces. This is a very good looking and fairly expensive looking item. If you paired this with a rain shower head it would make a great combo. The spray pattern is unique and the feel of more water is always a plus.

This is perfect for what we are going to do. We are removing our Tub shower combo in the master bathroom with one large shower. Where the tub is will be a quick rinse station and this will fit well in the design hanging on the wall flush rather than sticking out like a shower head. Bathroom remodel has been pushed off until early next year (2019) so we will have to circle back with placement photos once it's done.

This is very unique shower head that I fell in love with. Very modern design that goes well with. Its unique shower head did what it advertised for. It does give more coverage and warm feeling. It sprays unique pattern that my kids loved. Water flow is not too strong but did the job. You can change the setting as you wish so it can be used for kids and adults at the same time. It can be customized to fit your needs. However, as other reviewer mentioned, I had little trouble with installation. I assumed that this has everything that is needed for me but it was not. I had to go back and forth to the Home Depot near by. For the hose, it is okay. Nothing special but I would expect little more than this. I might go back to Home Depot to see if there is anything better that I can replace. Overall, I am happy with it but it could been better.

High quality, excellent water pressure, easy installation. This handheld shower sprayer was easy to install and came with clear installation instructions. The chrome finish is very easy to clean, and has a great spot resistant finish. It is very well made with high quality materials and is still very affordable and and has a modern, fashionable design that would fit in with any bathroom design or decor. The spray pattern is very relaxing and the water pressure output is great. I would highly recommend this sprayer.

This Delta Ara 1-Spray Handshower with H2Okinetic in Stainless is a beautiful and well built product even if I have a few things that they should consider looking at. The installation of the bar is very self explanatory but it would have been nice to see Delta throw in some large different assortments of wall anchors to make it easier. Easy enough to pick up at your local Home Depot, but then again not everyone wants to run out or has them readily available in their home stash. The main reason I like to see that bar anchored well is that even if it does not qualify as a standard compliant handicap grip; many of us who have a little difficulty with balance while showering usually will grab that while sticking their head or face in the water. For the price the definitely undershot on the hose. They should have used another one from one of their product lines on this one. A heavy duty single purpose shower head. This stainless over brass body shower head gives out plenty of pressure while conserving water. Some people who like multiple settings should look at a different line or use the overhead because really I think this combination is all about the shower head and bar as a matching contemporary look. With a few fixes from Delta a true winner but I can only go four out of five until then.
