We purchased this faucet for our master bathroom, had it installed and after a week of so the spout came loose from the spout adapter. We've tried multiple times to reattach the spout to the adapter using the screw but it doesn't tighten enough on the adapter to keep the spout from loosening if anyone touches it. Does the adapter need to be a certain height? Can you use a medal screw to actually into the adapter? This has been very frustrating...

What is the minimum this should be installed from the wall? I want to ensure handles don't hit back tile when turning on or off. Perhaps these are quarter turn handles but it doesn't state this in specs.
