Hi CZ! Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I will be happy to help. Unfortunately no, our trim kits will only install on Delta rough-in valves. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Best Regards, Tim

Hi OlyWAOutdoorMom! Thank you for your question! This finish is stainless steel. It has a look very similar to brushed nickel. It is not polished or satin finish. Best Regards, Tim

If your existing trim plate is recessed, concave, you'll need to buy and replace the valve as well; if it's flat, your handle might point somwhere odd, but otherwise you *should* be fine.

Does any of this trim kit have plastic in it? Looking for one without, Thanks

Answer

Hi, Barry. Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T14067-SS trim kit handles, sleeve, and escutcheon plate are made of metal. Best Regards, Rosanna

My shower trim is round, can I install this squared trim over the same round space?

Asked by Emmanuel July 9, 2017

Answers

As long as your existing trim plate is flat, the screws are as Delta lists in their answer to this question, and you're okay with the possibility the handle might point somewhere odd, you *should* be fine. If your plumber was a plumber and not moonlighting from selling oranges on the 405 off-ramp, valve replacement should take 7 of the 10 minutes to make this changeout. If not, buy rubber boots and a snorkel.

what is the difference between Delta ARA Monitor 14 trim kit Model # T14067 and Model T14267LHD besides the shower arm and flange Thank You

Asked by Nika March 27, 2016
1
Answer

Hi Nika, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model T14067 is a trim only faucet. Model T14267-LHD includes the shower arm and flange. This is the only difference. Both of the trim packages will need a rough-in valve behind the wall. If you are using a shower only application, we recommend model R10000-UNBXHF. If installing a tub and shower application, we recommend model R10000-UNBX. Thanks. Jody

I currently have a Delta Monitor 1400 series handle. It was installed prior to 2006. Can i replace that handle with Delta part T14067-SS?

Asked by adamray January 28, 2016
1
Answer

Hi Adamray, Thank you for your question. The T14067-SS valve only trim will work on an existing 1400 series rough in valve. You will have to continue to use the existing cartridge or order a new RP19804. The cartridge that ships with the T14067-SS will not work in the 1400 series faucet. Thanks, Dave

does this handle come with a cartridge?

Asked by ryan December 14, 2015
1
Answer

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T14067-SS includes the cartridge with the trim package. You will need a rough-in valve to be able to use the faucet. We recommend model R10000-UNBX. Then you can add a tub spout, a showerhead or a handheld shower if you would to make this a complete faucet. Thanks. Jody

Can I install a R-11000 diverter with this faucet? (T-14067 - SS)

Asked by Stormy September 23, 2015
1
Answer

Hi Stormy, Thank you for your question. The T14067-SS valve only trim uses the R10000 rough in valve. The R11000 diverter valve would be used with the R10000 rough and trim and a matching 3 or 6 setting diverter trim that would allow you to operate 2 or 3 different features including shower heads, hand showers, or body sprays. Thanks, Dave

***will not replace concave trim without recommended valve replacement*** + heavy, durable + easy...
***will not replace concave trim without recommended valve replacement*** + heavy, durable + easy install provided the original plumber wasn't a moron + temp-set gimmick is actually fantastic In the questions section above, Delta said if you have a circular trim you want to replace, you'll be fine as long as its screws are at 1:00 and 7:00. Or whatever. I replaced a Glacier Bay/Motel 5 plastic crystal round ugly knob and a recessed trim plate, and its cartridge wasn't nearly long enough for a 1:1 without installing Delta's recommended valve, and, the new handle pointed to ~4:00 vs 3:00, which I would not have cared about one bit, especially after the multiple floods during installation. The valve says it has a stop screw in it; mine does not, something I uninstalled for the 9th time to double check. And my setup didn't allow for Delta's plastic "drywall saver" cage, so my trim plate isn't 100% seared to the tile as I'd like, but after the floods, I'm less picky. The valve accepts roughly anything you want to put in it; I'd strongly recommend push-to-connects, and if you're dealing with someone else's plumbing who wasn't really a plumber, I'd recommend getting two push-to-connect shutoff valves, then go with all blue and red pex but for a copper stem for the bathtub spout (for rigidity.) Or a PVC stem, temp rated. I lived in a gofast boat for a couple of years usda 6b, and hated, hated pex, then in a travel trailer where I hated pex and rotted wood, but in a house pex and push-to-connect are reliable, make life easy, and there's no chance of, say, crimping about 18" below every connection as the orginal "plumber" did. Or consistently sweating 1/32" overlaps. Noah the plumber, let's get this flood started already. Also, if you're dealing with someone else's plumbing, I'd start the hole in the drywall at least just above the existing valve, then go all the way to the floor rather than trying to keep the repair or hatch job as small as possible -- you'll be surprised at all the surprises your plumber left for you between the valve and the floor. Like, resting the end of the tub on a rotted, multi-split 3" shim of 2x4 he found on a dead guy in the alley. If you're doing this from scratch, or if your plumber was really a plumber, installation should take 10 minutes flat. The plastic face of the cartridge lifts up on internal spring tension, and you rotate it counter-clockwise to set the upper limit of hot water you want. I haven't taken a shower with this yet, but every time I've pushed the knob all the way to the left, once water got to temp my arm and foot were pleased; it took about two trials to find the setting they were happy with. I have no idea how much my electric water heater on super-pressured city water will fluctuate, so I may have to set it a bit hotter, but so far it looks like there's a good chance you can actually set the knob to full-left every time for a consistent shower. What am I saying. I took 19 showers with this thing, but during installation. House flippers will not hire plumbers who know much about pipes or water or fittings. For having you against the wall, Delta's valve is shockingly inexpensive, all brass but for plastic cage, zero complaints on either purchase. If you're hoping to just replace trim, and your trim plate is flat with the screws at appropriate positions, just be ready for the handle to point wherever your existing cartridge wants it, but otherwise this *should* be an easy 1:1.

This is a very good shower trim unit made of good quality materials. Best of all it fixed the problem of temperature change in the water when another faucet was opened up, or a toilet was flushed. This kit contains the cartridge for the valve (that is not included). This trim kit is pricy, and at this price I felt that the valve should be included. If you order the valve separate, it includes another cartridge, so you end up with two cartridges. I was unable to buy this unit in a complete kit with shower head model# 55445-SS, which was disappointing. A note of caution: whenever possible buy all of the needed components in a complete kit if possible. If not, be sure all of the components will work with one another, especially making sure the shower trim is compatible with the valve that you are using. I am completely satisfied with the performance of the unit, but ended up costing too much with an extra cartridge.

Replaced a 40 year old valve during bathroom remodeling. This one operates more smoothly and with finer adjustment. Once in a long while though it allows a very slow drip. The stainless steel finish matches our non-Delta shower head very well.
