Well made. Solid. The black matches really well with the vanity we are installing.
It is super easy to install. All the parts and instructions are included. This should be an easy 15 minutes or less install for most. It requires two screws to attach the base plate that the hook attaches. It then tightens down with a small screws. I like the screw in anchors that they send if you have to install in drywall and not on a stud. Makes for a nice install.
For me, this base is a little smaller than the old hook. You can see where the previous home owner painted around the hook instead of taking the time to take it off the wall. Which will make it more work for me now.

Delta is always top of the line quality and this is no exception. I marveled at the way you attach the bracket to the wall, then mount the fixture with only a set screw underneath, smart people came up with this setup. I’ve got Delta towel racks & tp holder, so this was a piece of cake to install. I really liked the knurling around the head. Gives it the strong guy tool look. Made in China, disappointing.

Super easy installation, came with east to read instructions and all necessary hardware required to mount the towel hook in drywall or directly into a wall stud. The matte black finish is extremely appealing and I feel it will hold up better in my bathroom than the chrome towel hook it replaced. Also, I really enjoy the knurled texture on this towel hook! Would absolutely recommend!

The matte black finish and detail on the Averland line of bathroom fixtures is just perfect for our boys' ensuite bathroom. The black is modern and looks high end. It's perfect for a more masculine and modern look than other fixture out there. Our boys specifically requested a Star Wars themed bathroom and think these fixtures look just like lightsabers!
This is a great little hook for next to a shower or the back of the door. All of the hardware is included and it feel sturdy enough once anchored, but I wish it had more than one spot to hang something!

The Delta Averland Robe Hook was a welcome addition to our master bathroom! The matte black finish of the robe hook compliments our modern farmhouse decor. We, also, have the matching Towel Bar but the sleek and stylish design of the Averland line allows you to mix and match with any matte black trim product (ie., we've thrown in some of the Ara line from Delta in our bathroom as well and the look is cohesive enough). The Averland towel hook in matte black by Delta is nice looking hook. The matte black finish is high quality and matches the 24 inch towel bar I got. The hook has a nice weight to it and comes with drywall anchors which is appreciated. The textured knurled cap is stylish and functional as it helps keep your towel from slipping off. The overall quality is what I expect from a Delta product.

I replaced the old chrome towel hook that came with this flipped house that I live in now. I had to remove the old mounting bracket as they are not universal from different manufacturers. That's too bad cause it resulted in another hole in my door.
I did note that beforehand, that on the back of the towel hook where the set screw is, you need to clean out the burrs that were left behind by the manufacturer. You need to carefully clean out the burrs so that your mounting bracket will slip in and fit. If it doesn't fit, then take a good look at the burrs that were left behind when the factory drilled the hole and cut the threads in the hole to have the set screw placed in there. I was surprised that this was left in there and not cleaned out. Quality control issue.
Once you have it set properly on the mounting bracket then you need to have the set screw with the supplied allen wrench to tighten (clockwise) so that it is secure.
Overall it looks good on my guest bathroom door. Had good weight and didn't feel cheap. The matte finish is very nice too. It is very well made quality finish. Made in China.

This Averland Bath collection features knurling details that are authentic looking and gives a nice contemporary style look to where ever you decide to use it in the bathroom or your kitchen like my wife and I did and we really like the matte black color . Instead of mounting it somewhere like your bathroom we used a magnet and attached it to the side of our refrigerator and my wife hangs her aprons from it and it looks and works great .

Delta Averland towel hook in the black mat finished looks good and is a good quality towel hook. This towel hook comes with all the mounting hardware needed and is very easy to install. The hook itself is small so would only hold a single towel at a time. I am going to us it to hang my kids backpacks and it worked great for that. So, you could use this towel hook for a multiple of things, hats, towels, kids backpacks, purses.
