This fan is very quiet and very effective of getting all the humidity out of the bathroom. The nightlight is kinda bright in my opinion so I bought a dimmer switch to adjust it to my liking.

Bought two of these fans for a condo with moisture problem in master bath. They are super quiet (a small light inside the cover lets you know when they are running), but pull a huge amount of air. If you close the door just touching the jamb, and turn on the two fans they will draw the door open about 2-3 inches.

Great ventilation fan, well worth the price. I bought this fan to replace the cheap fan in my master bathroom that the builder had installed. The first thing I noticed was how quiet the fan was when turned on. The second thing I noticed was that the mirrors were no longer fogged up after the shower had been used. I like how the fan will adjust its speed from your preset low setting to its high setting according to your set relative humidity threshold. Overall I can recommend this fan for a mid sized bathroom like mine.

You would need 4 light switches, Yes 4. one for the light one for the night light one for the power and one for mode, and one for the toilet and one for the door and one for the mirror, and one for your toothbrush,,,wait what? geeeeee,,, unless u team the light with the fan then you would have the fan on when the lights are on. i only had 2 switches so i am going to use combination switches of 2 on each side, then run 2 extra set of wires, installing it on the joist if you don't have a ceiling yet is simple, but if you have a ceiling like i do and my ceiling is 1"thick 1/2 drywall and 1/2 plaster then the joist brackets wont work either. they say to just Lay a piece of wood above the ceiling on one side and you screw it thru the drywall to this piece of wood the other side is to the joist , what kinda support is that? if the mounting holes were on the front and back rather left and right you can bridge the joist with 2x4's and screw it to the 2x4's but noooo the fan exhaust is in the way so you cannot do that either, and when you do not use the joist brackets there are 8 1.5" slots that sit in the attic, well guess what those are lower than the fan motor so when you start it, it will suck air from the attic too. so you would have to plug them up and make sure you seal every hole below the fan motor. i was not able to flush it to one side of the joist due to another light already there, i needed it center between the joist and i had 16" joists, so i had to add 2x4's to each side to bring it to 12" and then screw it to those. oh yes it says to cut a 10-1/4" square hole in the ceiling, oh boy don't do that just measure the the fan metal box and add 1/8" on each side. 10-1/4 is too much.

As advertised..... very quiet, installation could be a bit challenging
If you're looking for quiet, this is it. It's not silent, but for 110cfm this is about as quiet as you can get for a very reasonable price. It's not the most stylish piece I've ever seen, but hey, it's a ceiling fan, how often are you looking up at it? The sound is detectable in a quiet bathroom, but just barely, like a white noise sound, 1000x better than the builder fan we were replacing. We installed two of these. Installation went ok with some glitches. The vent and electrical connections were fine, the actual mounting brackets were a a bit flimsy and don't give you many options. The fan I was replacing was stud mounted, as are most original builder installations. The only mounting option provided is to center (or off center but not directly stud mount) it between studs which would have meant closing the existing hole and cutting a new one. That's A LOT of extra time and work. So, I had to improvise and put some sheet metal screws cautiously through some parts of the housing where they weren't supposed to go and jimmy some of the brackets around, bending off some the mounting tabs and flipping them around. But ultimately I was able to make it work, its mounted solid and its working great.

        Bathroom Exhaust Fan/Light
Much quieter than other fans. I have been using this for about 3 months and definitely recommend it to others. Clean, contemporary look.
