Thank you for your question, Programmer. The position of the diverter lever is limited to the 3 positions indicated on the escutcheon plate. The volume handle will rotate counter-clockwise about a 1/4 turn from the downward position. The diverter handle is about 1.3" from the center to the tip. The volume handle is about 4" and the temperature knob is about 2". The handles extend about 3.5" from the finished wall. A great decition, Glad I did

Ive had this installed for a month. Easy to set up and operate. Now there are other reviews about the Temp handle. I didn't have any problems with this. I set the temp and then made sure I snapped it in right. Clik and its done. A great design, be patient, and do it right the first time.

Works smoothly and effectively. Looks very nice in our master shower setup. Fairly easy for a professional plumber to install but not simple since it IS a diverter, not just a basic trim and valve system. Construction and materials are well-designed, reasonable mix of plastic and strong metal.
