Q:does this model come in 60"x 32" I bought the 60x 30 40114R alcove tub with the curved shower door kit and it will be a bit of a tear up unless I can swap out the 30" for a 32" wide tub. Your help is appreciated.

Q:My contractor recommended this tub, but I am extremely concerned, that about half of the reviews are 1 star - all saying it cracked w/in 1-2 yrs (or less!) Has anything been done on the quality control/production end to address this issue?

A: We have had this tub installed for over 6 years with no cracking. There are a couple little scratches that are red that I need to look into how to fix but I love the size of this tub

Cracked at 3 year mark

Installed 01/2020, crack found 02/2023. I was skeptical due to some reviews, but it seemed to be holding up nicely. I thought I would be one of the lucky ones but was wrong. A 4 inch crack is on the bottom of the tub. I will never use Delta tubs again. I will now have to pay thousands to get this removed and retile the entire tub surround. Being in a home that is 1.5 baths, this is much more of an headache. Look elsewhere, it will save you money and stress in the long run.

Cracked in under a year

Didn’t even get through the year before it had a crack down the middle. It also always looks dirty and will not come clean after only a month. The photo shows it right after being bleached and scrubbed. It was a complete waste of money and makes the entire bathroom look cheap.

Cracked in just over a year

This was an enormous waste of money and time. We remodeled our bathroom two years ago and within a year of installing this tub, it had cracked. We’ve repaired it twice since and the crack only reappears and grows. We won’t be buying Delta tub products in the future. No we have to rip this out and install something else. Incredibly disappointed.

Nice, deep tub

This is a nice looking tub. It is very deep and will need a deep drain kit and a higher faucet and valve. It is light yet sturdy. The base lifts the tub a few inches off the floor. There are 2 tracks that support the base that must be on a continuous, flat surface. Be sure the cut out for the drain does not exceed the recommended dimensions. I think an oversized cut out may cause cracking issues. Since it is high to step over, I recommend a grab bar.

GARBAGE! Cracked with 2 yrs

Purchased this tub and had it professionally installed. 2 yrs later, huge crack. Now we have to remodel all over again.

WASTE IF MONEY have to remodel AGAIN!

Tub seemed to be a great value. Installed in 2019, less than 2 yrs later has a HUGE crack in bottom. We are back to square one. Praying my tile floor can be salvaged. To say this purchase was a HUGE disappointment would be a gross understatement.
