Decor Assist Traditional 24 in. Towel Bar with Assist Bar in Chrome

7 months after purchasing and installing the towel bar, the chrome finish started to peel off. I removed the bar from the wall but had to leave the mounting bracket in place in the drywall because of the huge holes created in mounting it. I returned the towel bar to my local Home Depot store but only received a credit to use in the store and not online. Since this towel bar is only available online in my area, I was not able to use the store credit to replace the towel bar. This was disappointing to me. I ordered a new one and we will see if it lasts longer. On the upside, the warranty is good for the life of the product.

Delta Décor Assist Towel Bar, too beautiful to use as an assist bar I received the Delta Décor 24 ' Towel Bar through the Home Depot Seeds Program in exchange for a fair review of the product. This item was ordered and received in 1 week and was packaged well, there no scratches or damage and it was received in perfect condition. The Delta Décor Assist Towel Bar is a high quality, very sturdy fixture and although it is recommended as both a towel and assist bar I think it is much too pretty to use as an assist bar, I used mine as a double towel rack and it looks high end and beautiful. The Décor towel bar is a traditional fixture design and has a polished chrome finish. It is 24" in length and includes the mounting hardware for both study and non-stud installation. The end brackets have a beautiful curved design and the material is a heavy duty solid metal, not the hollow or tin feeling of some towel bars. The instructions were a little difficult to understand but the extra installation hardware is if you intend to use it as an assist bar. I installed my into a tile wall so I needed a drill bit for use with stone and tile. Once you mark the holes in the wall I installed two wall anchors for each bracket and proceeded to attach the towel bar. If you are installing the bar as an assist device you have to insert a long bar anchor into the drywall or attach the brackets into the studs before first before attaching the bar. The specifications state the bar can hold/assist up to 300 lbs but I think I would feel better installing a horizontal shower assist bar if I really needed one. I have included the instructions in the photo if you would like to get an idea of what tools you will need prior to purchasing this item. This towel bar looks beautiful on my tile wall and can easily hold two hand towels and two bath towels. The design and finish are equally as stylish. This Delta Décor towel bar has a lifetime warranty against defect and it retails for approximately $60.00. I would highly recommend this Delta Décor towel bar if you want quality and durability and an integrated towel bar along with a stylish assist bar. It also adds a very elegant touch to any bathroom with matching fixtures..

This towel bar is definitely a quality item like almost every other Delta product I've ever had. Made of heavy duty steel gauge, it's definitely made to last and I love the fact that you get 2 bars in the space that one would occupy. The bars are actually far enough away from each to allow a decent size bath towel to hang on each one. Be aware that the chrome finish is almost mirror like because the chrome is so shiny. You can see in the pic that it's reflecting stuff hanging on our bathroom door!

The Delta Traditional 24 in. Towel Bar with Assist Bar in Chrome looks great. It is a very well constructed and includes a very detailed set of instructions with the mounting hardware. I would not want to trust it with 300 pounds of pulling weight unless you have it mounted directly to studs This towel bar would be excellent if you are remodeling your bath and can install a backer board between the studs to install to. Then you would be able to fully utilize the grab bar.

Delta has made something elegant and useful for the bathroom: the Delta Decor Assist Traditional 24 in. Towel Bar with Assist Bar. It looks and feels good to the eyes and fingers. It is a nice standard towel bar, but not for wider towel which are the standard now. i have been using 30 inch towel since very long time. I am kind of skeptical about using it as an assist bar, since it is installed with only 2 screws, one on each side, and it is rated for 300 lbs. It can be used as an assist bar for smaller people with less weight, but not for an average guy.or bigger people. Installation is very easy: it comes with all hardware needed,

This bar doubles as a wash cloth holder and balance assist/fall prevention tool and looks very good as well. I am very pleased with its looks and functionality.

I can’t give this a good rating because it’s still not installed. I bought it because your web said you have “pros” to install. I got the name of 2 pros who never called. A local handyman said it would be $200 min to come out. Now waiting for a family member from out of town to try and install. Never would have ordered if I knew your website lied
