Lyndall 33 in. x 64-3/4 in. Semi-Frameless Contemporary Pivot Shower Door in Chrome with Clear Glass

After some initial issues with the order, I got everything and was able to install the door. Pretty easy task and easy to set up after installation for fit. A very nice door package for our existing shower project!

I have a 33”w shower. I installed the side frames w/o issue. Then tried to put the clamps on. They don’t fit. Tried calling customer service for days. Couldn’t get through, no help. But now I’m invested because I don’t have a shower. I’ve bent the clamps slightly. At this point, I don’t care too much. I just need my shower back. I get the door up and the clamps are in the way because this shower door that claims to fit a 33” shower does not. I expected so much more from Delta.

Easy to install, looks great without having to spend a fortune on a frameless shower door .

Clean, classy looking door. More opaque than I thought it would be so that was nice. I did not install it myself so I can not speak to the installation process.

This shower door looks very nice but has design flaws and needs to be re-engineered or removed from purchase entirely. Unfortunately there are not many economic options when purchasing a door for this particular shower. 1. Photo is incorrect - I purchased the shower in the photo which shows the door matches the height. I understood the height of my shower (72”) vs. the actual (64 3/4”) height of the door and purchased the door anyway to save over $350. 72” doors are very expensive. So the first issue is a misleading image and it should be removed immediately (Home Depot said they would contact Marketing in earlier posts and this has yet to happen.) 2. Installation - The door installation was tricky, I had this professionally installed by my contractor. He returned twice to try to make adjustments to the door. It still leaks. 3. Design - The upper pivot hinge is stressed. There is a rail (about 5” wide) to the left that the top and bottom pivot hinge attach. The rail is secured to the wall but is flimsy at best. There is too much movement at the top of the rail to feel confident about repetitive use of the door. Also there is stress on the top pivot hinge itself that cannot be adjusted, we attempted twice. The best I can tell is that the door is installed with correct measuring all the way around. 4. Design - The bottom railing and bottom pivot hinge are a serious design flaw. What I cannot understand is why there is an opening at the bottom pivot hinge. Water splashed out of the opening immediately. My contractor cut the bottom rail just a bit short which caused additional leakage (see photo) he added silicone in the gap between the rail and the bottom pivot hinge, this didn’t help. Again. I cannot figure out why there is an opening under the bottom hinge for a shower! There are no photos here or online at Delta at all to show this opening. I have no idea how to deal with the opening, it seems to need its own sweep or water diversion attachment. I have included two photos. 5. Design - The sweep attached to the bottom of the glass, it was too short and left about a half inch opening between the bottom of the sweep and the bottom rail. We had to purchase a taller sweep as water was splashing out as well. 6. Design - The instructions state the sweep should extend all the way across the bottom of the door. This presents a problem upon closing the door. When the sweep is installed this way, the door presents a gap at the bottom closure allowing water to escape - the door closure seal is not thick enough to compensate for the gap. We had to cut the sweep just short of this. This is another leak area. 7. We are considering removing and returning the doors due to the bottom pivot hinge and sweep issue, I did not expect that I would have to put towels down each time I take a shower to protect my floor even with a door installed. Also I would have to deal with holes in my new shower from the doors installation if I go to a curtain (and believe me, I don’t want a curtain.) It may have to due until I can find a more appropriate door for the shower. Very disappointed with this purchase.

I got this glass door to go on a Delta shower unit that I obtained to replace an old flexible 32in abs and aluminum shower in my summer camp. While I would not consider this door to be top class, mostly because of the seal and trim, it looks and works so much better than what I had. It is also a thick panel of glass which I feel safer with. Make sure the proper side is out as one side is coated for stain free. The instructions are pretty good and I love that they mention the use of coins to draw a radius on the trim to fit the stall. I have used this method previously and it worked great for me. If you take care with the installation it will be solid and pretty much leak free. I have installed a larger Delta door before this and learned a few things from it which helped. I also learned that taking pictures of clear glass is very difficult. LOL

I am so excited for this shower door! The metal color is brushed nickel. This has great instructions for installation. It comes with three labeled steps. I love that the door pivots both ways. Also, the door can swing on the right or on the left. The door is heavy, thick, solid and very sturdy. The door was packed very well and had many items in the larger box to secure the smaller items and the glass panel. The item also arrived quickly!

Just finishing up installation in a new tiled shower. This is a very well made product and nicely designed. A very good and beautiful compliment to a complete bath redo. We looked at a lot of shower doors before selecting this one and glad we did. Extremely high quality and great looking!! The only issue during installation was The 1-5/8" long screws furnished just did not provide sufficient embedment due to the fact that there was no wood studs behind that part of the fiberglass shower wall. Hopefully you shower was installed correctly and you have wood behind the shower wall where the door installed.

I like the simplicity, The look of the door jams and no trim around the door. I love the design of the pivot hinges, the mounting of the door jams and the knobs. The knob and hinges are the only things on the clear door. The door, knob, hinges and door jams are all nickel finished. I am a large man at 6'-2" with broad shoulders and I have a shower with 32 inch opening in my shop. The 33 inch showers door will fit a 32 inch opening so I can use it in my shower. Great update to bathroom. Store pick up was difficult. Store did not provide the three packages needed at pickup.
