Is that true about Home Depot/Lowe's Delta products not as good as from plumbing stores?? Also, can a purchase be made for a plate under the fawcett to just go over one hole under the fawcett? The old fawcett I am replacing has stained my sink under the fawcett. Not sure if I can get that cleaned as I want - Thanks

Good design and materials. We really enjoy MagnaTite docking. SpotShield stainless finish probably helps to conceal extra spots, but hard to say - still have to clean it. Installation was OK. Overall looks great!

I installed the faucet a week ago. Delta has made it even easier for diy installation. I like the finish although a tad more yellow than my other brushed nickel faucet. The faucet is a water saver, but I like what I call "the give me more" button when I'm filling something with water. It's a bit taller than my previous faucet, which I like. It's a solid faucet in operation. I've always liked that about Delta.

This faucet was installed by our contractor, but my understanding is it is just a basic installation. Love the spotshield with it always looking like I just wiped it down whether I did or not. Obviously, it still needs to be cleaned, but it doesn't need to be wiped down every time water gets on it which is great. No problems with any leaks. I would prefer if it went back to the single stream when it turns off like our old faucet did. My husband likes to use the spray and leave it there so whenever I go to use it water sprays all over due to the force of the water coming out. Soap dispenser is easy to use and fills from the top. We have received several compliments with the faucet not having the typical rounded edges and has a slightly different look. Ours is installed on a top mount stainless sink.

Excellent Faucet

Easy install, magnet for the handle, two different flow types and spot resistance. Replace a delta that had a long loop and it sprayed everywhere when it hit the bottom of the sink. This one is just right and the handle does extend out from the faucet for extended reach.

Looks good but started leaking just after 2 years.
I bought this expensive faucet to replace my 10 year old faucet. It looks really good and size was what we wanted but now it's started leaking. It's hard to turn off now, after turning off it's keeps leaking the slow water stream. I don't remember exactly now how much I paid, but it was close to $200 and I was in the impression that it will run long. It didn't meet my expectation.

I've had this faucet for about two (2) years. Everything was great until about two weeks ago. Now it is leaking up under the handle. Tomorrow I'll remove the set screw and see if I can order the parts under warranty. No Leaks must not mean "No Actual Leaks". I hope the parts needed will be delivered quickly, or a replacement faucet. It's no fun having a sink without running water in the kitchen. I'll post a follow-up after I have more information.

Can I join the litany of reviewers who wish negative stars could be granted? I ordered this faucet on Feb. 20, 2016, received and had it installed on Apr. 23, 2016. Everything was great for a month or so, until the bonnet (the screw-down assembly under the cap) apparently worked itself loose, and water was streaming out everywhere. A simple fix - just remove the lever, then unscrew the cap, and retighten the bonnet nut. After hand tightening it, a wrench took it about another half turn. Reassembled everything - all is fine. About two months later, same thing all over again. This time I wrench tightened the bonnet about a full turn, and reassembled. Leaks stopped, but now the lever was nearly impossible to move. Since that latter part of 2016, we lived with it this way, explaining to our grown children and family guests trying to help clean up after meals, that it is what it is. You want hot water? Jam it to the left while it is off, then lift it in that direction. Want medium? Leave it centered and lift up. Still too hot? Suffer with it, because you can't nudge it at all to the right for cooler water at that point. About two weeks ago (Mar. 9, 2018), I got tired of listening to everyone (wife, 5 adult daughters, and sundry guests) complaining all the time, so decided to open it up to loosen the bonnet nut a bit. BIG MISTAKE! The cap was now permanently fused to the bonnet! Trying everything I had available, including a 5" square rubber bottle lid gripper, I manhandled the entire unit loose and unscrewed it. The dome shape of the cap prevents you from getting any type of a grip. I then retightened it, only now just hand tight. Unfortunately, the valve unit may not have been properly seated, which is actually not uncommon, as it doesn't seat very well, as temperature mix was random - more hot than cold. Even on full cold, it was still mixed. But we could live with it. That lasted exactly two weeks. The entire unit began leaking everywhere yesterday. However, the cap/bonnet assembly was still fast tight, and I had to use a slip joint nut wrench, along with the aforementioned rubber bottle lid gripper, to remove it. Have NO idea then why it was leaking so much. Unfortunately, the wrench pressure needed to loosen it still penetrated the rubber, and gouged the cap. Once removed, I figured the cap is already shot, might as well disregard and continue to separate it from the bonnet, and just search for a new cap. Fat chance! It's like it is welded on there. Plus, the bonnet itself, brass colored (not sure it is real brass) is little thicker than sheet metal. Gripping it with anything mechanical would destroy it as well. So for now, it is all reassembled, hand tight, until I can find better brand in the next few days, before it gives out once again.
