Buy something else
After installing and following all procedure upon initial use there was a water leak at the tip of the faucet. Water is bypassing the aerator and leaking out the cheap plastic head. Called Delta and their remedy is to send new aerator which is not problem. I do not recommend this product or company.

One thing lacking
Been using this faucet set for one week now and very please with it. Would have been 5 stars except for the cheap sprayer that looks like chrome but is really plastic. However, while the sprayer that originally came with it would stick 'on' 2 out of 10 times, Delta was quick to send a replacement that works fine. The last Delta sprayer we had was metal, but I suspect doing a true chrome sprayer would increase price significantly.

Small plastic piece with red/blue dots covering hole in control handle fell out and was lost second day after installation. Poor design to rely on pressure fit to hold this. Contacted Delta Faucet and they sent a new part for free. Will use a little clear silicon to hold the replacement part in.

Beyond the original...
During a 2005 kitchen remodel we chose a Delta high-arc spout faucet and sprayer for both the main farmhouse sink (along with a soap dispenser) and on the secondary prep/bar sink (in the coordinating smaller spout size). After just a few years, the main faucet had to be replaced and we sadly found that the original spout design had been discontinued. Even though the closest replacement faucet had a different spout angle and design than the original (so now it doesn't match the one on the prep/bar sink), we resolved that it was "close enough" and chose to stay with Delta. Overall we've been happy with the performance and quality. Frustratingly, the soap dispenser bottle has broken for now the 2nd time. The first time the plastic bottle cracked/broke where the neck meets the body. This time, the top threads of the replacement bottle (installed 8/9/13) have broken off inside the nut/countertop mount. My husband was able to back-out the broken threads from inside the nut but we now need a new (3rd) soap dispenser bottle. Separately, we also need to replace a broken plastic piece from inside of the handle/lever sleeve assembly. The broken piece is a threaded black, 4-tabbed plastic piece that screws onto the top of the valve assembly. That black, 4-tabbed plastic piece serves to position/seat the finished metal sleeve/cover (which has corresponding notches to align with the tabs of the black, 4-tabbed plastic piece). With one of the black plastic tabs broken, the finished metal sleeve/cover now spins beneath the handle. Lastly the red/blue button plug that covers the set-screw also needs replaced. I've attached photos and would appreciate help with the needed parts replacement. Overall, the performance of the faucets has been excellent; just failure of some plastic pieces.

Pilar faucet w/sprayer
The faucet has nice weight to it,a solid piece. And the valve is solid by itself and the cover simply twist on. The instructions are pretty laid out and simple. Just lay everything out, and it goes into place very easily . This unit comes w/ it's own hoses, so just connect or cut & connect. So No other hoses are needed. The color is a perfect match to our stone in the kitchen. The pressure is so strong that I have to turn it down some, so the sprayer won't splash. Thanks

love the color!
This was so easy to install, I spent more time removing my old sink than I did installing this new one.
Everything seems like very high quality except the cover that fits over the handle. It was plastic and very hard to make it sit flush. Love the pressure of the water and the spray nozzle is great. Looks great with my granite counter top.

I am very disappointed in this faucet. The handle makes a terrible metal on metal screeching sound and the faucet has to be "just so" to keep it from dripping. This was an expensive mistake. My last faucet lasted 18 years. This one will likely make it a year before it drives us crazy!
