Nice looking towel bar. It has a smooth, matte black finish with a modern look. The bar itself is not thick, it's flat and wide, and has a new and fresh design. It fits one large towel (or 2 smaller towels) The bar comes apart from the sides for easy install. It comes with all hardware to include basic drywall anchors. The only part that was slightly "difficult" was tightening the little set screw on the bottom (it is right at the bottom edge near the wall). It's pretty, I like it a lot.

I really like this new line of Delta bath hardware. Its really a unique idea to have the towel bar angled downward, or I suppose you could angle them upward if you like that look. The sleek smooth flat finish is a nice touch. I should also note that the flat black color i have, could easily pass for dark bronze if you are matching other hardware in your house.
Installation is very simple, and all you need is included in the box. The quality is quite high, and i expect these to last for years to come!

an o ring on the ends of the bar so its not able to slide back and forth in the ends. also maybe to keep moisture out ? either way i thought it was a nice touch. shows the thought delta put into making a towel bar.
the finish is great and install could not be easier with complete instructions and hardware included.

This is a sharp looking and very sturdy towel bar from Delta Pivotal collection . I had to replace a well used towel bar in our laundry room. This one is constructed very well and is all metal with a nice heavy feel to it. It has a very nice consistent matte black finish. There are other finishes available. All the necessary hardware is included for standard drywall installation. I used a drill motor and 3/16” bit, level, measuring tape and Phillips screwdriver. It was up and in use in less that 15 minutes. This is a quality piece, not the cheap stamped steel. Well worth the price point. We love it.

This is a nice towel bar with a good looking matte black coat. It is easy to install just like most towel bars - 5 minutes of time and a few screws if you can get it level the first try. This bar has a flat rectangular finish not a round bar like most and that gives it a unique modern look. The towel bar is also at a slant not straight out from the wall. I have yet to figure out if that's a positive, a negative or neither.

I've decided to go with a white & black theme in the kitchen for a bolder look and that's what I got with this DELTA Pivotal 18 in. towel bar !! This bar would typically be used in the bathroom, but it's really is a good fit in front of the sink for my hand towels, you can even put one on the side of your cabinets, it's always a plus to have a couple of towel bars for hand wiping in the kitchen or bath !! I love the strong feel of this 18 in. towel bar and the cool Matte Black finish !! This one is very strong and will hold your biggest towels or just a couple of hand towels !!

This is a quality 18" towel bar. It is heavier in material than most. It is made by Delta which is always an evidence of quality. The bar has a small downward angle to it which actually makes it easier to get the towel on the bar. Matching pieces are also available in different lengths and uses. The matte black is a chic modern design and color for any decor. It is also easy to install.

The Delta Pivotal 18 inch Towel Bar in Matte Black is a very modern design. The bar connects to the wall using 2 hidden brackets that are concealed once the bar is installed using 2 hex screws – the hex wrench is included. The towel bar has a total length of 19 3/4 inches from end to end. The usable space on the bar is 16 1/4 inches. It sticks out from the wall 4 inches when installed. Once installed, the bar will have a 9 degree slope down from back to front by design. Instructions are included in English, Spanish, and French. You will need a level, measuring device (tape, yard stick, etc), screw driver, power drill, and a 1/4 inch carbide bit to drill the holes. 1 1/4 inch screws and plastic anchors are provided. The mounting hardware will be 18 inches on center. It is a very sturdy and solid design. Easy to install too.

The Delta Pivotal 18-inch Towel Bar is a fantastic addition to any bathroom if your going for an elegant streamlined look. The matte black finish is appealing to the eye and fits well with the modern design. All the parts and directions were included with the towel bar making the installation process simple and seamless. It looks and feels like a high-quality product and I don’t see it needing to be replaced any time in the near future.

My wife and I have been looking for black bathroom hardware (like towel bars), for a while now. Most of what we've seen has been sort of cheap-looking. Then we stumbled onto Delta's
"Pivotal" Series and their "Ara" Series - both available in matte black. We have 2 bathrooms that we're now using their hardware in and both have black faucets and door hardware. Bingo!
Both were super-easy to install and both look absolutely great. The finish is soft matte and matches our other accessories perfectly. The quality is excellent as is the finish.
