Pivotal 24 in. Towel Bar in Matte Black

When we moved into our new home, we decided that many of the finishes would be matte black. We’re currently in the process of renovating one of our bathrooms and we needed a towel rack to match the existing finishes around the house. This Delta Pivotal 24 inch towel bar was a perfect match for the style we have been using. The towel bar has straight edges and thin metal giving it a nice modern look. This towel bar seems to be an excellent product and installation was simple. The bar itself seems sturdy. There’s not much else I could say about a towel bar but I’m very happy with the appearance and quality of this one.

I love the Matte Black finish on Delta's Pivotal Towel Bar. It's a very rich, lovely shade of black. The towel bar itself is heavier than the old one it replaced, and feels sturdier. Mounting brackets, screws, allen wrench, and wall anchors are the included hardware that comes with the towel bar. Installation instructions were brief, but straight forward and easy to understand. It took less than fifteen minutes for complete start-to-finish installation using just a handheld screwdriver. The bracket is really nice. The towel bar slid right on the bracket snugly, held itself in place, and allowed both my hands the freedom to finish tightening the set screws with an allen wrench. It's a sharp looking towel bar with an awesome contemporary design that resembles a ledge. I love it.

I’m planning to replace the towel bars and toilet paper hangers in my bathrooms. I want to replace the inexpensive chrome-plated plastic and aluminum bars and hangers installed by the builder with nicer ones. I chose this Delta Pivotal towel bar in matte black to see if I like this style. I’ve had many good experiences with Delta bathroom and kitchen fixtures, so I decided to see how well I like this style towel bar. The towel bar feels solid. The angular geometry and matte black finish give it a contemporary look. My towels hang securely on the flat bar and resist sliding off. The available hanging space for towels and washcloths on the bar is 22-1/8”. The outside dimension of the towel bar is 25-3/4”. The towel bar end pieces (“bodies”) are 1-13/16” wide by 1-3/4” high. They are slightly smaller in height than the end pieces of my old towel bar, and as a result I had to patch a couple of screw holes. I like the towel bar, but I’m doubtful that the Pivotal bars and hangers will be my final choice for replacement of the existing ones. They are attractive and I think they will be durable, but I’m not convinced they warrant such a premium price.

I used this towel rod in my bathroom remodel and I absolutely love the Black matte look. It's a change from the normal nickel or polished look that I have used for years. Delta makes great quality products and this is no different, it's east to install, has a great look and the quality is top notch. The 24" towel rod is wide enough to hold 2 large towels if folded to fit. I used all Black fixtures in my bathroom and it looks great.

This is a very strong and great looking Delta Pivotal 24" towel bar in black. Looks very nice when installed for a nice looking bathroom. The directions are easy to read and follow with all the hardware to install it. It's very long compared to some towel bars which are shorter so it makes it easy to hang a big towel on it. The color is nice also makes it stand out in a white bathroom.

This is a cool, modern-looking towel bar from Delta. It's very high quality, as you'd expect, with a beautiful finish and sturdy construction. Installation was very easy, but what I like most about this towel bar is that Delta offers an entire collection of matching fixtures, so you can really tie your bathroom together if you're remodeling. Even if you're not doing an entire remodel, just changing out your fixtures and towel bars has a huge impact for a small price. Definitely recommend if you're ready for a change.

Clean lines and a great finish! I love this Delta towel bar in flat black for my basement half-bathroom. It has a masculine, but elegant look to it that will be perfect once it's finished. I can't wait to see it on the wall with the matching accessories. Assembly and hanging is also super-simple with the provided brackets. Just mount the mounting bracket, hang the bar mounts, and use a set screw to secure it. The mounting brackets also have o-rings to prevent the abr from rattling and I presume to keep moisture out. Great execution on this design!

+ VERY cautious five stars due to finish + easy install + good hardware - filing of bracket lip might be necessary I just 99% installed a black Delta grab bar, and just ripped it out -- its very long wood screws took no effort to strip and bend, and while it arrived in pristine condition, it took no effort to scratch the entire thing. This towel bar has the same finish, but as I'm using it for a sloped skylight curtian rod, metal grommets and a plasticized boat hook run along it daily with no effects on its finish. So take that for whatever it's worth. As with all Delta's Pivotal fixtures, the mounts fit over the brackets and an allen set screw pinches the bracket; in order for the mount to hold on the opposite end from the set screw, a lip is drilled -- leaving a circular hole narrower than the width of the bracket. The only one I had to file down was for their toilet paper holder, but I put that up on brick -- which had to be chinked and chipped to a smooth-ish surface, and it took a while to figure out all the axies this thing wouldn't line up -- and this one had the worst drilling of 6 mounts so far, so who knows if it really needed to be filed down as smoothing out the mounting surface certainly took care of at least the grossest issue with mounting.

Delta Pivotal 18 in. Towel Bar in Matte Black Very well-made high quality materials installation was very easy and basic the weight of the two end pieces surprised me. The bar itself has kind of a parallelogram shape to it end to end. Which helps prevent towels from slipping off of it. the matte black finish is well done. The brackets that attached to the wall that the towel bar ends attached to are smaller than standard ones so you’ll have to drill at least one more hole to add a wall anchor if you are replacing an older towel bar. the towel bar end brackets attached to the wall brackets with an allen head set screw at the bottom however if they used the slotted set screws it would be much easier to attach to the wall bracket. Other than that, this is a very well-made very modern looking towel bar that I really like and I would recommend it.
