Porter Toilet Paper Holder in Polished Chrome

great mounting brackets. This is a nice style in Chrome. Our old TP holder had a white plastic tube. This chrome one looks classier. The spring rod thing is still plastic, but looks good. The Chrome holders are solid and well built. We especially like the mounting brackets. Easy to attach the brackets and the holders simply slide onto the strong tabs. We'll look for this type of mounting bracket in the future. There is no tiny set screw underneath to deal with. Smart!

I would give 5 start but i didnt realize the "easy clip" mount feature. Seems like if it is bumped upwards it could potentially fall off the wall. I am sure it will be fine, but there is not a set screw like others i have used in past. This is nice since you don't have to smash your fingers against the wall to turn the "old style" set screw. The large baseplate also makes it easy to cover up old mounting holes if you are updating fixtures in your bathroom. Overall i like the easy clip system and am sure it will hold up over time. I would buy this system again.

This product is very nice and durable. I love the look of it which brings a nice look to your bathroom. The handles to hold up the paper holder is extremely sturdy and the bar to hold up the roll itself is light weight, that way it can be easily install and retract back and forth to get the roll on easily and stay securely. You would definitely love this and would not need to replace it in a hurry. Easy to use installation kit and instructions.

I really like the shine on this chrome toilet paper holder. It seems to be good quality and has a nice weight to it and the spring seems like it will last. It comes with all hardware needed for installation. It was easy to install. My only complaint is that I like to buy the jumbo rolls of toilet paper (because no one puts a new roll on!) and this is a little to small.

Our second is a bit small, the first TP holder I installed was a J hook type that is open on one end. Due to tight space the roll seemed to get knocked off when cleaning or getting the trash can, so it time to put up a nice holder. The Delta holder is high quality with some weight to it. The holder has a good chrome finish and a sturdy spring for the roll holder. The mounting was fast and easy. From the time I went to the basement to get my tools, back up, take the old one off, mount the Delta and put the tools away... 15 min. It looks great.

We've lived with no on wall toilet paper holder in this house since purchase several years ago. We were using this cute, artsy wire dog on the floor made for this purpose. Only, it tipped over too easy, got in the way, etc. I previously installed a Delta Porter hanger next to the shower which blended well with the other fixtures in the bathroom. I decided to pick up this Delta Porter Toilet Paper Holder that matched and install it on the wall. It wasn't the "low projection" type that requires cutting a large hole into the wallboard and installing a backer to screw into. Like all Delta Porter products, it seemed heavy and well made. Except for the actual part that the toilet paper mounts on. That is chromed plastic which I am not a fan of because in my experience, the chrome rubs off the plastic over time. We'll have to see. I always like to mount at least one side of any bathroom wall fixture into a stud for strength in an application where repeated hand use is involved to avoid them coming loose and becoming wobbly. I do like the Delta Porter easy mounting system they have. Mount two plates to the wall and slide the fixture onto them. Easy to pull them off too off if you want to paint, clean, etc. But, I did find that the provided, plastic drywall anchors just weren't up to the need in this instance. The screws haven't been able to grip the mounting plate tight and there is some play. And, I'm no novice to using these plastic wall anchors. I will be replacing those with molly bolts to better secure the mounting plate to the wall. This holder is nice looking and matches our existing towel/robe hanger we already had. It's certainly better than that wire dog holder we were using. And probably just as pretty. ;-)

Probably one of the best toilet paper holders I ever bought. It is well built. You can tell by loading a roll on to the tube that it's made to last. The instructions to hang it are great. The template they supply makes it almost foolproof to hang it level. I lucked out. One side hit a stud. But the wall anchors they give you , work just fine for sheetrock walls. And it looks good. If you install it correctly , it sits solid on the wall.

The finish on this toilet paper holder is Flawless. Very good looking Chrome. I do like the Attachment system to this assembly. It has the mounting brackets that are a hook style attachment. The instructions are very easy to follow. everything you need is included in the package ant there is a template guide for the mounting holes that need drilled included on the instructions.

Over the years I have install lots of toilet paper holders and towel bars and after getting the brackets mounted, I always struggled to tighten the tiny set screw on the bottom to hold it tight. Delta made installing this toilet paper holder a breeze. Just use the template to mark proper spacing where you want to mount it, screw in the brackets and the holder just snaps in place, and very tightly. What a great idea. love it.

This is a very pretty toilet paper holder with elegant left and right mounts and a chromed plastic, spring-loaded paper holder rod. Personally, I wish manufacturers would supply metal paper holder rods, but plastic is standard. The wall mounting plates are quite beefy for such a light duty item. The are metal with two upward facing tabs that match with slots in the left and right mounts. Two supplied screws are driven into each wall plate to secure them to the wall. Wall anchors are provided for the screws, if needed. The left and right paper holder mounts are placed over and slightly above the tabs in the wall mounts, then pulled down along the wall so the tabs engage the slots firmly to complete the installation. The result is a beautiful paper holder that will upgrade the appearance of any bathroom.
