Delta Portman 60" Semi Frameless Traditional sliding bathtub doors in Bronze finish with Rain glass doors, This has to be one of the easiest shower doors I have installed, Comes everything needed to install except the silicone sealant, The top rail can be install on either side it has (2) different styles, We decided to go with the Delta Portman because of all the different options of handles and knobs, The rain glass finish looks like we spent a fortune for them. Yes I recommend.

If you’re looking for a sliding glass door on your tub arrangement this is one sharp looking combination. The bronze features are well made and have a great finish that I’m sure will last a lifetime. The glass is an exceptional finish that mimicked the effect of cascading rain. I know the glass is high strength and high quality because it’s so dang heavy! Be prepared to have a few hands help you with loading and moving into position for installation.

I have installed 3 of the Delta shower & tub doors and they are quite easy to install with good directions and install videos online, which are very helpful. That wasn't the case for another company that I used, what a nightmare! Delta's been around for generations, so if you need a part down the road you will most likely be able to order it from them. These doors are heavy and really need 2 people to carry, it's shipped on a pallet that's quite large (see pics for dimensions) I should note that there is only one layer of clear plastic over the whole unit so I'd suggest to put a tarp on it if you need to leave it out in the elements. One thing I'd like to mention is that all of these doors have one little issue that's not described in any of the instructions. They give you a "range" of sizes that the door fits, BUT understand that if your opening is on the smaller side, then the opening to enter the tub will be smaller too, in my case the opening is 4" less than the old tub door. So now when I enter the tub I have to enter sideways, as my shoulders are too wide. So if you're opening is on the smaller side of the manufacturers limits, I'd try an experiment...closing your old shower door by lets say 4" and see if it'll be an issue for you or not to get in & out. As far as the doors themselves & the hardware, it's very well made. We have a small bathroom, if you have the same you'll have to be careful of not hitting the towel bar, we ended up having to get a door stop that mounts to the hinge (sold at HD) to stop the door from swinging into the towel holder which sticks out about 3" more than our old tub door. I should also mention that our old tub door had a grab handle the full length of the door on the inside & out, these have nothing, so I strongly suggest installing a grab bar on the back wall, that way if you ever slip you'll have something to grab onto. As Mentioned it is very heavy and is delivered on a pallet, which was dropped off at the end of my driveway. I moved it with my pallet forks on my John Deer tractor just as it started to rain, if you'll need to move it by hand, unpack it first and carry each door with 2 people. These semi-frameless clear shower doors are beautiful. The bronze finish could almost pass for black. Love it. Since they are clear, they’ll be great to show off our remodeled bathroom walls, instead of covering it up. Will also help to make the room look bigger, rather than making it seem smaller with a shower curtain. Made very well. It’s Delta. They’re always good. Can’t wait to install. Just finishing up the bathroom remodel. Can’t go wrong with this product.

This thing looks sweet. I haven’t got it fully installed yet so I can speak to longevity but this door is beautify. It was delivered nicely on a pallet and came in 3 easy to understand sections. The instructions are very understandable and it’s a clear step by step process. I’m just waiting for my bathroom rehab to be done so I’m can instal. I’m so excited, feels and looks very high quality.

The description says bronze but the actual color of it is more black/brown then bronze. My bathroom lights are pretty bright and even with a zoomed in picture it doesn’t look bronze at all. The handle as well is pretty dark. The only thing that looks bronze is the fading around the handle knobs. That’s my only complaint. Other than that the quality is good. The framing is sturdy and the glass is nice & thick. I wouldn’t recommend installing the glass panels by yourself since they’re pretty heavy.

these are great quality shower doors. glass doors are very heavy. the rain finish on the glass is very nice. you have to be really careful when measuring. i cut the top bar a little too short. even though there is no danger of the doors falling off I have contacted the maker to see if I can get a replacement top bar. when they tell you to be very careful with your measurements, they aren't kidding. the instructions could be a little better. installing these doors is a chore, but the finished product is really awesome.

I installed this in my daughter's bathroom. When I first started to install this I a was a bit nervous. I didn't want to screw up my wall's making a mistake, but it was a lot easier then I expected. I watched a video on YouTube and read the instructions before I began and about 2hrs later I was completely finished. This really makes my bathroom look a lot bigger and more modern. Everything fit perfectly, I made my cuts with my miter saw and just let the blade work its self through. I love that glass doesn't show water spots with it's special coating because my water causes calcium build-up. It will still required cleaning when needed but no shower squeegee or spraying after a shower! I'm definitely satisfied with Delta once again and would recommend this product!

FIRST MAKE SURE ALL YOUR SURROUNDS ARE CLEAN AND FREE OF ANY KIND OF SILICON, MEASURE THE SIDE BARS, MARK THE HOLES, PUT THEM ASIDE AND START DRILLING, ONCE YOU HAVE SECURE BOTH SIDES MEASURE THE BOTTOM AND CUT TO FIT, DO NOT CUT THE TOP AT THE SAME TIME, THEY ARE DIFFERENT, SECURE THE BOTTOM, MEASURE THE TOP, CUT TO FIT, SECURE IT AND THE DOORS COME MARK, USE THE HARDWARE THAT COME WITH IT, DO NOT OVER TIGHT THE BEARINGS, IT MIGHT NEED SOME ADJUSTING, HUNG YOUR DOORS AND YOU ARE DONE.

This is a very high quality item, made with very good materials. It is much heavier than an enclosure we purchased from a competitor years ago. It arrives in one large box that is so heavy I could barely drag it from the step inside. My husband and I could not carry the box upstairs, so we opened it and carried the individual pieces up to the bathroom to install. I recommend two people to install this door.
